We go back in time to 30th of May 2015, the day of the national race from Bourges, won by Karlo Van Rompaey and his 'Prima Dora'. And on 1st of August 2015, Karlo Van Rompaey won another national race from Bourges, this time with 'Hattrick'. It goes without saying that Karlo still has very fond memories of his 2015 racing season. Both his race winners went straight to the breeding loft, and they revealed their breeding potential almost right away. They were sold in a successful PIPA auction in 2018.
Hattrick, who carries the rare LDHA genotype A/A DRD4=CCCT gene, is particularly known for having bred several race winners. He is now the sire/grandfather of at least 20 (!) first prize winners, including a 1st national Chateauroux of 33,056 pigeons for Wijnand De Bruyn and a 1st national Souillac of 7,514 pigeons for Casaert-Senechal.
