The racing team from Casaert-Sénéchal (Russeignies, BE) has been really impressive in Bourges!

The first national race on the Belgian calendar was Bourges and it was once again the family Casaert that made a lasting impression: Maurice (son) claimed victory in the yearlings category with the highest speed of the whole pack. But his brother Sébastien Casaert-Sénéchal booked an astonishing result as well.

The people who regularly follow the races in Belgium were already aware of it: the Casaert-Sénéchal colony had a perfect start of the season with several victories and a dominant performance in the local races. We already published a report about this in April (click here to read this report - only in french). Of course, it was the perfect way to start the racing campaign, knowing that things get serious in just a few weeks' time, with the first longer middle distance races on the calendar, and then the national races. Given the racing conditions for Bourges, which were particularly suited for his loft, Sébastien decided to basket the majority of his racing team with the ambition to clock several early arrivals. Judging from his results in recent weeks, it was clear that he would be able to reach his goals. In fact, almost everybody expected him to do really well. And so it happened!

There was a great atmosphere in Russeignies, as everything seems to have worked out perfectly. The team of the yearlings appears to be in great shape, although the same can be said about the olds. With the most important races still to come, we would not be surprised to see the team of Casaert-Sénéchal win some top prizes in the national classics. Let's put it this way: we are convinced that they will be very successful sooner or later, given Sébastien's managing qualities and his determination. See you soon for his next top result!
