Micky Watts of Southminster was first open and first east section with a yearling on 1816mpm over 211 miles. Micky timed one of his successful M and D Evans Vandenabeele family, the sire being a direct son of Skyfall, a proven breeding son of Champion Shadow and Top Investment, when paired to Golden Black, a breeder of many winners including Shadow's Image. The dam of Micky's national winner is a direct daughter of New Bandit and Koen 7 Hen.

Mr D Deveson from Newhaven clocked a yearling on 1809mpm over 148 miles to take first centre section and second open. David clocked a hen on its first race of the season, containing Eric Cannon bloodlines and sent sitting sixteen day eggs.

Third open and second east section was a yearling clocked by Keith Weller of Cuxton on 1798mpm over 186 miles. Keith timed Early Surprise, a cock sent sitting ten day eggs. Early Surprise was bred from a Bernard and Mark Sands Staf Van Reet cock when paired to a hen gifted to him by Bernard Gasson.
John Cowlin
J Cowlin of Hullbridge timed a yearling on 1796mpm over 204 miles to take fourth open and third east section. John's winner is a Formula One Frans Zwols hen that has numerous club cards and is a full sister to John Gladwin's double federation winner. The sire is a direct son of Argon, whilst the dam is direct from King of Rekkem.

Meg Murray of Burnham on Sea was fifth open and fourth east section with a four year old on 1795mpm over 210 miles. The dam of Meg's winner contains Kavanagh Busschaert bloodlines gifted to Meg by Craig Booth of County Durham. The sire is a Stuart Ager Vandenabeele called Roman Lord, winner of the London and South East Classic Club as a youngster.
Whitehead & Graves
Whitehead and Graves of Goodneston clocked a two year old on 1788mpm over 207 miles to take sixth open and fifth east section. This hen was bred for the partners by Bob Croucher from Maidstone and contains Jan Aarden bloodlines.
D Wilton & Son
Seventh open and sixth east section was won by D Wilton and Son of Chadwell St Mary with a yearling on 1759mpm over 189 miles. The partners timed a Soontjen hen bred from stock they obtained from Mr and Mrs Crook.
David & Daniel Watson
D Watson and Son of Ashford Common clocked a yearling on 1749mpm over 164 miles to take eighth open and second centre section. The sire of this pigeon has flown Barcelona and Agen.
J & J Brady
In ninth open and seventh east section are J and J Brady of Benfleet with a four year old on 1744mpm over 198 miles. The partners timed a hen bred from a direct daughter of Jos Thoné's National 2.

Completing the top ten and in first north-east section are A and T Wright of Norwich with a four year old on 1733mpm over 273 miles. Alan and Tom were the winners of this season's Marseille race.
Around the sections
Peter Donovan of Croydeon timed a two year old on 1729mpm over 171 miles to take third centre section. This chequer pied hen was bred by Peter's nephew, Johnny Donovan of the Donovan and McHugh partnership.
Tony Jenkins of Cheltenham was first west section with a two year old on 1455mpm over 172 miles.
Keith Donnelly
Second west section was a yearling on 1136mpm over 146 miles clocked by Keith Donnelly of South Wales. This chequer hen was bred by Preece Brothers and Sons and has Nikon and Farm Girl on the sire's side of the pedigree. On the dam's side there is Saron, a full sister to the Preece's Queen's Cup winner.
G Clarke of Cardiff was third west section with a three year old on 831mpm over 143 miles.
C Crick
C Crick and Son of Stotfold clocked a yearling on 1706mpm over 202 miles to take first north-centre section.
Clive Brown of Alconbury was second north-centre section with a yearling on 1645mpm over 221 miles.
David Paine of St Neats was third north-centre section with a yearling on 1590mpm over 215 miles.
Second north-east section was timed by H Cook, Son and Grandson of Kings Lynn and was a three year old on 1725mpm over 260 miles. This hen contans Jan Aarden bloodlines from President x De Barcelona on the sire's side and a grandaughter of Avril on the dam's.
C Leak and Son from Dersham were third north-east section with a three year old on 1723mpm over 269 miles.
Nigel Matthews
Nigel Matthews of Bridgnorth was first north-west section with a yearling on 1407mpm over 206 miles. Nigel timed a chequer hen containing Mark Gilbert's bloodlines going back to Southfield Supreme.
M and C Lee of Worcester were second north-west section with a two year old on 1403mpm over 187 miles. The partners timed a blue hen, raced on the widowhood system.
John Rodway
John Rodway of Rushwick was third north-west section with a two year old on 1401mpm over 187 miles. Raced on the natural system, this hen was sent sitting sixteen day eggs.
