Four different auctions ended last Sunday, with a revenue of 133,625 euro for 90 pigeons. Here is a brief summary for each auction.

Derek Rooney – 10 pigeons – 1,125 euro/pigeon
Derek Rooney, whose impressive breeding loft is home to several youngsters of Harry of Jan Hooymans, raised 10 youngsters of his best breeders. The overall revenue for these 10 pigeons was 11,250 euro. The most expensive youngster was a grandchild of Harry & James Bond, which goes to Colombia for 1,800 euro. The 10 pigeons have been sold to Belgium (2), Colombia, (2), China (1), The United Kingdom (1), Poland (1), The Philippines (1), Taiwan (1), and The United States (1).

Gerry & Leo Dockx – 11 pigeons – 1,018 euro/pigeon
This partner loft of Gaston van de Wouwer raised 11 youngsters of their best breeders, and the most expensive youngster is a grandson of the renowned 098, which goes to China for 1,900 euro. The 11 youngsters raised 11,200 euro in total, and they will be sent to lofts in China (6), Germany (2), Belgium (1), Taiwan (1), and Colombia (1).

Dick Leeuwerke – 61 pigeons – 1,691 euro/pigeon
After Dick Leeuwerke's passing PIPA was honoured to be auctioning this world class loft. The 61 pigeons were sold for an impressive 103,175 euro. The eye-catcher was sale 1: top breeder Super Son Wondere Dirk - he goes to China for 22,500 euro. In fact, the majority of pigeons went to a Chinese fancier: 16 in total. The other pigeons will be moving to Taiwan (12), USA (5), Belgium (4), Colombia (4), The Netherlands (4), The United Kingdom (3), Italy (3), Qatar (3), Poland (2), Japan (2), Spain (1), Dubai (1), and The Philippines (1).

Team BDS – 8 pigeons – 1,000 euro/pigeon
Sale 1 became this auction's most expensive bird: top class racing bird Speedy Junior was sold to a Belgian loft for 3,000 euro. The 8 pigeons were sold for exactly 8,000 euro, and will be shipped to their new loft in Belgium (6), The Netherlands (1) and China (1).
