Important victories are the main theme in the impressive and longstanding career of the Vandenheede family in pigeon racing. It would take a book the size of an encyclopaedia to make a summary of their victories over the years. Their palmares is nothing short of impressive, and they have been complemented in pigeon magazines and news reports worldwide.
At times the Vandenheede pigeons were simply too strong, making them almost impossible to beat. And it seems nothing has really changed in 2015. Not that their many opponents had expected anything else. Still, no one can predict what is going to happen in the course of a season, even Freddy and Jacques can’t. You can never take for granted that your pigeons will be in their best shape, because this is often a matter of details. Still, the experienced champions from Zingem appear to have mastered the art of getting your pigeons in top form. They claimed victory in Zone A from Limoges and Cahors, the first long distance races of this season, besides several first prizes at club level.

This was a very promising start to the 2015 season, a season in which we are likely to see many more great results. We assume that these two victories in the zone are just the start of a successful few weeks or months. Congratulations Freddy and Jacques.
