PIPA is proud to announce that Murteza Sharef will be representing PIPA in the Middle East from now on. Mr Sharef speaks six languages and will promote PIPA's online auction platform in the Arab world as well as PIPA's brand name through public auctions, organised in the Middle East. Murteza is also helping people from Middle East with direct sales between Middle East and Europe.
Luc Vermeerbergen and Robby Wilms have been working hard for years to become one of the leading lofts in Belgium, and PIPA is more than happy to hear that Luc and Robby are greatly satisfied with their total auction (minus the youngsters of 2017) of last weekend.
There are many skilled fanciers in Denmark but not so many who take an interest in one loft racing. Helle and Jens Pedersen from Holstebro are the exception, having participated for many years in the South Africa Million Dollar Pigeon Race.
The 2017 final of the Derby Arona, one of Europe's biggest one loft races, was held on Friday 24 March. This year's race was won by Team Leyen-Segers-Paloma Racing from Belgium, making it their second victory in three years' time after having taken the first prize in 2015.
The combination delivered an exceptional result in 2015, winning the first four national prizes from Châteauroux of 10,442 young birds. The team had a brilliant result in 2016 as well, with 3 pigeons in the national top 20 of 28,078 young birds from Bourges.
