Hans Lekscha is one of Germany's great pigeon champions. He has been adding victories to his palmares season after season. In 2011 he was able to win seven first prizes, and last year he managed to claim an impressive 23 wins to his list of achievements, along with numerous championship titles.
The Bricon Loft of Ivan and Willy Baetens has gained a reputation for its invaluable collection of national ace pigeons and great champions. These pigeons in turn led the way to many more top results and prestigious victories.
This is looking to be the most successful auction season PIPA has ever organised. The bar was set high, given the high sale prices that we have seen in recent years as well. As always, we are eager to see where this is going.

Lubomir Kubacek has once again been crowned 1st National General Champion for 2016 in the Czech Republic, the fourth time he has won the title. In addition he also won first general champion long distance, second general champion short distance, third general champion yearlings and third general champion young birds. An amazing achievement!

In November 2016 Mike Cooney purchased 32 of the 34 pigeons that Christian van de Wetering had offered for sale, until he sadly passed away last month. The only right thing to do was to reimburse the Cooney family, while PIPA and christian agreed to auction the 32 pigeons a second time. It was an approach that Christian appreciated a lot.
October 2016 saw the unexpected passing of Victor De Belser, marking the end of a successful sprint imperium. Victor managed to dominate the competition in and around Mechelen for many years, thanks to a nest pair of descendants of stock breeder Stekpender and the renowned Kaasboer (Van De Wouwer). He had numerous top results and titles on his palmares.
