Gala dinner of the AU Convention

AU Convention Gala Dinner. Thanks to the AU and the Chicago Combine for having us here. You guys were great. We had a wonderful time! Special thanks to Andy Waclaw for making this event a top one. We might see you again for the AU convention in Utah next year!

Public auction organised by PIPA @ the AU Convention was a great success. 73 pigeons were sold for 132,530 US $

Pigeons offered from Bart Geerinckx, Jelle Roziers, Adrien Mirabelle, Sakis, Carlo Gyselbrecht, Batenburg - vd Merwe, Big Andy, Greek Connection, PEC were sold today in Chicago, many have attended the auction from all over the US and it was a big success. The most expensive pigeon in the auction was sold to Jim Gabler for 13.000 us dollar, the first son of Porsche 911 ever to be sold in the USA. The underbidder was a famous Chinese pigeon racer. Jim Gabler also bought all the Bart Geerinckx pigeons and most of the Jelle Roziers pigeons. The pigeons of Jelle Roziers do very well in USA and they were sold for a high average, just as the ones of Bart Geerinckx. Also the other participants sold their pigeons for a nice price. Jim Gabler from ADL Loft invested a huge amount in buying some very high quality pigeons and in this way supported the auction a lot. Not only Jim but a lot of other people bought pigeons. We would like to thank Andy Waclaw for doing an amazing job as auctioneer and for making the convention a succes. We also would like to thank the European fanciers for bringing such high quality birds to the USA. The US fanciers were really happy and appreciated this a lot. The trip created many new friendships between Americans, Europeans and others. Also a huge thank you to Big Andy who was constantly on the phone during the auction for the online bids that came in through ipigeon.
