(08/02/2020) Embregts-Theunis (Hoeven, NL) wederom ongenaakbaar in 2019

Wederom was het een boerenjaar voor Peter Theunis spelende onder de naam Embregts-Theunis uit Hoeven. Niet minder dan 9 keer werd de naam Embregts-Theunis op teletekst geplaatst en werd Peter afgevlagd als 5e Beste Liefhebber van heel Nederland in 2019. Het zoveeltste diamantje wat toegevoegd kan worden aan de al zo rijk gevulde prijzenkast.

(07/02/2020) Worldclass performance on Bourges II for the loft of Veuve Delbruyère (Solre/Sambre, BE) with the highest speed off 45.865 pigeons

The national Bourges race in august is traditionnaly one of the most expected races off the whole season as it gathers the biggest amount of pigeons sent in a single national race. With the young birds also flying on national level for the first time. In 2019, there were no less than 45.865 to be released.

With a 1st Nat. Narbonne YLs, a 1st & 5th best yearling of Belgium in the long distance across 3 races, and a 5th + 11th Nat. Ace Pigeon long distance & extreme long distance YLs KBDB to their name, Team BDS did a tremendous job in the harsh conditions of 2019, as one of Belgium's leading names in the long distance.

(05/02/2020) Tjeerd & Jouke Elzinga (Harkema, NL) have several Esmee descendants in their collection that are guaranteed to breed successful racing birds in future seasons

The breeding phenomenon Esmee is still one of the main pillars in the pigeon breed of Tjeerd and Jouke Elzinga. Thanks to a number of joint breedings with pigeons of Jan Hooymans (Harry and New Harry) and the PEC (Porsche 911), these two fanciers are almost guaranteed to have a reliable group of breeders in their team. Their descendants will be ready to deliver in the near future.

(01/02/2020) Jeroen and Stijn Rans (Wijgmaal, BE) win both Barcelona, Pau and Perpignan national in just three years' time!

In the last several years, the Rans Brothers from Wijgmaal have been impossible to ignore in the national and international extreme long distance competition. Their national victories from Pau and Perpignan (2017), as well as their marvelous international first prize from Barcelona (2019) have turned them into true marathon specialists.

Klaas & Rik van Dorp were off to a flying start in 2019, with a title of 1st not nominated championship sprint in Rayon Central (Province 5). However, the sad passing of Klaas in June cast a dark shadow over this combination.

The in-house pigeon family that Martin developed over the years is mainly based around three stock breeders: Rainman, Levi and New Rainman. These were then crossbred to some of the best marathon bloodlines he could find in The Netherlands and Belgium, and this led to the creation of a breed that competes with the best of the best in international marathon races.
