For their second race of 2011 the Inter West Flemish club had no less than 5500 old birds. The laureate with a big lead on the entire bunch was the “Elzas” from the “Maspalomas Loft” from F & N Norman, which for him was 514 km which he bridged with a velocity of 1333,68 m/m .

In the interprovincial result they began with the following series:  1 – 10 – 37 – 47  - 72 – 113 – 121 – 122 – 147, etc. By the 734 yearlings they started with a.o. the 4th and 6th place.

It was not the first time the “Elzas” performed so well, as this chap has already flown a good honours list together:

As a youngster he classified himself 12 times (without doubles) including:  13e Blois 504p – 35e Blois 407p – 810th zone A from Argenton 8004pd – 44th interprov.  St Junien 1706 p – 428th zone A from La Souterraine against 6751 p –  291st provincial Tours 2257 p.

As a yearling he scored 11 prizes without doubles including:  99th Clermont 1028p – 1st Ablis 145 p – 8th Orléans 112p – 166th prov. Bourges 2054p – 498th national Chateauroux 22718 p – 638th national Argenton 19816 p – 480th national Tulle 8323 p .

In the pedigree of the « Elzas “ we once again see the enormously good breeding line of the memorable “Zorro” from the Norman-loft !
