Five auctions closed on Sunday with excellent average prices: Norbert Ally 2,100 euro/pigeon, Dirk van Dyck 2,220 euro/pigeon, Gert Noels 1,933 euro/pigeon

Five different auctions closed on Sunday 8th of April, and we briefly take you through each event.

Stefan Koschnitzki – 12 pigeons – 1,233 EURO/pigeon
This German national champion young birds of 2017 sold 12 young birds on PIPA. His best one, sale 1, was sold to a Chinese fancier for 6,000 euro. This talented youngster had already won a 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 7th against more than 3,500 pigeons on average. The 12 pigeons raised 14,675 euro in total, and they will be shipped to China (4), Italy (3), USA (3), Columbia (2) and Thailand (1).

Gert Noels – 6 pigeons – 1,933 euro/pigeon
Gert Noels's second aucton of the season was another success, with an average sale price of just below 2,000 euro, or 11,600 euro in total for 6 pigeons. The most expensive bird is a late youngster from top pair Claudio x Marceline, and goes to China for 4,000 euro. Sale 1, an 11th Nat. Bourges of 2013, proved the second most expensive pigeon, and will be transferred to China as well. The  pigeons have found a new home in China (3), Belgium (1), Turkey (1) and The United Kingdom (1).

Norbert Ally – 11 pigeons – 2,118 euro/pigeon
​Norbert had a fantastic reference in the Pioneer Club in China, where a descendant of Lucas, which was sold on PIPA, became 1st Ace Pigeon Pioneer 2017. As a result, this auction was expected to be quite a success as well. And so it was: the auction ended with an impressive 23,300 euro revenue for 11 pigeons. The two most expensive pigeons are a youngster of New Schumi and a sister of New Schumi, which were sold to a Chinese fancier for 3,800 euro each. The 11 pigeons will be moving to a new loft in Belgium (5), China (4) and The USA (2).

Dirk van Dyck – 10 pigeons – 2,220 euro/pigeon
​The auction of Dirk van Dyck was a great success, with an overall revenue of 22,200 euro for 10 youngsters. The two most expensive youngsters were sold to two renowned Belgian fanciers. One of them was a youngster of Blauwe Staf x Queen, sold for 3,600 euro, the other youngster was a half sister of Natalia, sold for 3,400 euro. The 10 pigeons were sold to fanciers from Belgium (5), China (2), Egypt (2) and Iraq (1). 

Rudi De Saer – 12 pigeons – 1,138 euro/pigeon
Rudi De Saer traditionally auctions a select group of youngsters from his best racing birds of last season. The most expensive youngster was bred from New Jens Junior, 5th Nat. Ace Pigeon KBDB, which goes to a Belgian top loft for 1,800 euro. The 12 youngsters raised 13,650 euro overall, and will be moving to Belgium (4), China (3), The UK (2), Taiwan (1), Columbia (1), and The US (1).
