Four hundred and forty seven members entered 4,203 birds for the British International Championship race from Falaise, the first race of the season following the cancelation of the earlier race from Carentan due to bad weather. The provisional result is as follows.

(31/08/2012) The British International Championship Club old hen race from Guernsey: a report on the winners

Five hundred and eighty five old hens were entered into the race which was held over on the Saturday due to bad weather. They were therefore liberated at 8 am UK time on Sunday 26th August. The wind in channel was initaily westerly turning south westerly later.

Two thousand, two hundred and fifty five birds were entered by two hundred and sixty one members for the British International Championship Club race from Le Mans. The birds were liberated at 9 am UK time, in sunshine and with light north westerly winds en route. The provisional result is as follows.
