10/07/2020 - Hok Van de Wouwer from Berlaar, or Gaston and his son Kurt, who is following in his father's footsteps, is off to a great start: they had the fastest young bird of 5,148 YBs in the first middle distance race for young birds this season, in Melun.
16/06/2019 - The pigeon to hold first place in the PIPA ranking over the first three national races of 2019 is none other than Blauwe Witoog BE17-6053446. In addition, the team's first and second nominated were the first pigeons to be clocked both in Bourges and Chateauroux. A touch of class!
31/08/2018 - Gaston Van de Wouwer is really having a fantastic season; one of many over the course of his impressive career. He has now claimed a national first prize of 2,855 old birds in the third race from Chateauroux this season, adding to a total of 3 national first prizes. It illustrates yet again the breeding value of his Kaasboer bloodline.
12/06/2018 - After his sale in 2014, Gaston Van de Wouwer knew it would be quite a challenge to return to his previous level. Well, you can clearly tell from his results these days that he is back on track. The provincial race from Blois on 2nd of June was a big success: he claimed a 1st and 5th provincial old birds and a 3rd provincial yearlings.
12/03/2015 - In the beginning of this week, a pigeon born in 2005 entered Gaston Van de Wouwer's loft. Gaston first thought it was a stray but when he grabbed the bird, the number on its tag looked familiar.
06/02/2015 - There is no doubt that Gaston Van de Wouwer has had one of his most successful seasons ever. His impressive palmares for 2014 includes a 1st prov. Ace Pigeon long distance KBDB, a 1st semi nat. Vierzon, a 1st prov. Argenton, a 4th prov. Champion long distance and a 5th nat. champion young birds KBDB.
16/09/2014 - As from 13 October Gaston Van de Wouwer, famous for breeding De Kaasboer and for winning numerous prestigious races, will sell all his birds on PIPA except two rounds of youngsters of 2014. 21/05/2014 - Last weekend's interprovincial race from Vierzon for Derby Hainaut took place in excellent weather conditions. This was a great weekend for the big favorites, who had no excuses not to do well.
18/06/2013 - Gaston Van de Wouwer has won yet another provincial victory. This time it was Serena, BE12-6023303 which took the first prize against 2,538 yearlings. Serena is a full sister of Laura, first Nat. Bourges and a granddaughter of the world famous Kaasboer!
15/02/2013 - Gaston had to be satisfied with second places at provincial level, with a second provincial Champion Long Distance Young Birds and a second Provincial Ace Pigeon Long Distance Young Birds. These titles illustrate that he has been doing great in 2012!

The first big confrontation of 2011 from Vierzon has just taken place and once again Gaston shines in 1st place provincially! Time then to pay a visit to the ‘wizard’ of Berlaar!
29/05/2010 - Over the last few weeks the knives have been sharpened, the pigeons focused… because the ‘national races’ were about to take place, with, as traditional opener… the ‘national Bourges 1’ at the end of May, which was on the programme this year during the Whitsun weekend of the 22nd of May!
