29/09/2017 - Three hundred and eighty members sent two thousand, two hundred and fifty-one birds to the Irish National Flying Club young bird race from Penzance. They were liberated into a light westerly wind. The following is a report on the final race result.

17/07/2012 - The Irish National Flying Club Vannes King's Cup was flown from Plaudren in 2012 and was sponsored by Samuel McCausland Ltd. Seven hundred and ninety four members entered 2,783 pigeons in the King's Cup race, competing for £37,607.00 sterling.
