08/01/2016 - Cor Leijtens claimed victory no less than eight times in 2015, making him one of the most successful fanciers in C.C. Midebo. His descendants of Lammert and Reneris continue to dominate the competition.

25/10/2013 - Cor Leijtens is one of the best fanciers in the CC Midebo association, with four pigeons in the top ten, including the title of first ace pigeon.

12/02/2013 - The pigeon family of the Leijtens brothers, led by Cor Leijtens, has had another great season in 2012. They have won quite a few first prizes, from sprint races to one day long distance races. This season’s highlights included two NPO victories achieved by the fanciers from Oostelbeers, about 15 km to the west of Eindhoven.

08/07/2012 - A national grand prix is probably one of the best occasions to show what you can do. This is the moment when the champions want to give their best and this time, good old Cor Leijtens took the honours in sector I. The winner from Argenton was not just a pigeon, it was his new star pigeon named Walter.

08/11/2011 - With the 1st Ace bird from the famous CC Midebo and a total of three pigeons in the top 5, Cor Leijtens finished his 2011 season in style… the result from the capital breeding loft, which has elevated the breeding of champions to a rare tradition.

16/11/2010 - De kolonie Cor Leijtens kunnen we stilaan gaan beschouwen als de ‘leveranciers’ van asduiven op nationaal vlak! Vorig jaar was het nog ‘Kleine Bram’ die de scepter zwaaide. Dit jaar was het de beurt aan ‘Vieree’ om zich in de ‘nationale schijnwerpers’ te plaatsen!

24/05/2010 - NPO vluchten voor de deur, de grote mannen drukken hun neus aan het venster. Zo ook in Oost-Brabant, waar Cor Leijtens fenomenaal uithaalt in de CC Midebo. “Zeer content,” zegt de grootmeester te zijn met dit resultaat.

18/04/2010 - The chilly Spring hangs in the air, and the new 2010 sport season started during the Easter week… everyone began again with a ‘clean slate’. We all have one thing in common at the moment… each one of us (sometimes with fear) wait for what the coming weeks will bring in the pigeon sport.

04/06/2009 - De gebroeders Leijtens, ook wel de "Gebroeders Janssens van de 21e eeuw" genoemd pakken opnieuw verschroeiend uit. Ze pakken 1 en 4 tegen 15.000 duiven het voorbije weekend op Nanteuil Le Hau. Beide duifjes zijn broer en zus !
