They were liberated on Friday 23rd June at 09.00CEST into a light south-easterly wind turning north-westerly on route. 05/08/2013 - Two hundred and fifty two UK birds, from seventy fanciers, were entered into the international race from Perpignan. They were liberated at 06.15am BST. The prevailing weather conditions throughout the route meant that once again the east section dominated the top ten.
