22/01/2017 - One of the most appealing pigeon auctions this winter will be running from Monday 23rd of January until Sunday 5th of February. Geert and Annick Vanrenterghem are selling their entire breeding team, along with the unflown youngsters of 2016. Discover their collection on Sunday Evening 22nd of January, right after the last auction has closed.

20/01/2017 - These two breeding pigeons are a full brother and sister and two direct Gaby Vandenabeele hens. They are inbred pigeons to the legendary Wittenbuik, and they are grandchildren of Bliksem. They laid the foundation for a 1st National, 7 (inter)provincial first prizes and a 1st Zone here in Deinze, as well as a 1st National Ace Pigeon Title and a 1st National in other lofts.

25/08/2016 - Geert and Yannick can look back on a spectacular weekend, winning the first four prizes provincial from Orléans young birds, as well as a 4th National YL Argenton. This is quite a talented pigeon breed indeed.

18/11/2015 - Geert and Annick Vanrenterghem continue to develop into a national top player, having won 11 first prizes in 2015, including a 1st Prov. Villemandeur old birds. Their success story is based on an invaluable bloodline!

22/07/2015 - These are the top performances from Belgium in the weekend of 17/07/2015 and 19/07/2015.

02/12/2014 - The pigeon family of Geert and his wife Annick Vanrenterghem has been able to gain an excellent reputation at national and international level over the past three years, winning several first prizes at provincial, zonal and national level. Their achievements can be attributed to a solid pigeon breed based notably on the bloodline of Gaby Vandenabeele.

23/05/2014 - This is a major win for Geert and his wife Annick this season, who claimed victory with their first nominated! The pupils of Gaby Vandenabeele have been able to beat their master, not surprisingly with a 50% Vandenabeele pigeon.

23/09/2013 - The fanciers from Deinze have missed a few provincial first prizes as well: their regular club is in Waregem in West Flanders but they are never included in the provincial West Flemish results, simply because they come from East Flanders.

09/08/2013 - These are the top performances from Belgium in the weekend of 02/08/2013 and 04/08/2013.

03/07/2013 - These are the top performances from Belgium in the weekend of 29/06/2013 and 30/06/2013.

12/03/2013 - This is the pigeon family that achieved national fame in 2011 with a national victory from Gueret with the young birds. In 2012 their pigeons did equally well, winning no less than 16 national top 100 prizes!

29/08/2012 - This weekend the pigeons were treated to cloudy weather with a strong wind blowing under their wings. Even with these very high speeds our fanciers achieved nice results!

23/08/2012 - Vandaag waren we te gast bij de sympathieke familie Annick en Geert Vanrenterghem. Zij zijn woonachtig te Deinze, in de buurt van een oude, schilderachtige Leiebocht waar veel vissers te vinden zijn.

10/08/2012 - When August appears on the calender we know the racing season’s end is upon us. The weather was just fine, with nice clear blue skies and back wind. The following fanciers achieved top performances:

12/07/2012 - Almost all national races last weekend were plagued by rain. Brive was one of the smoothest races, but especially Libourne and Barcelona had less smooth arrivals, so that in several places there even had to be clocked through to Sunday to be able to award the prices.

22/06/2012 - After spending another night in the basket, the pigeons for the national races from Montluçon and Cahors were finally released on Sunday. Both national races ran a smooth course, allowing the following lofts to outperform the rest of the participants:

14/09/2011 - With Geert Van Renterghem the national Gueret, had a nice winner in this last national race, who 2 weeks ago took victory at club level from La Souterraine… this time the victory was at national level!

24/08/2011 - Op 13 augustus stond er bij de Inter Westvlaamse Vereniging een Tours voor jonge duiven geprogrammeerd. Hierop werden 1670 jonge duiven ingetekend. Aan 1577,19 m/min was de “Tsara” van Geert en Annick Vanrenterghem uit het Oost-Vlaamse Deinze alle concurrenten te vlug af over de voor haar 449,633 km lange afstand .

01/08/2009 - “Brother Gabor” 09- 4280723 van Geert Van Renterghem uit Deinze wint 1e interprov Blois jongen op 18 juli onder organisatie van de Inter-Westvlaamse Vereniging.
