28/06/2019 - We vernemen het overlijden van Klaas van Dorp. Hij overleed op dinsdag 25 juni op 79-jarige leeftijd. Klaas is de vader van Rik van Dorp en de grootvader van Sten van Dorp waarmee hij samen in ware kampioenstijl speelde.

10/06/2018 - The impressive results of Klaas, Rik and Sten Van Dorp in 2018 speak to the imagination. They have already won three first prizes in major races, and their outstanding results on a weekly basis illustrate the potential of this team of champions from Rotterdam.

14/01/2017 - Klaas and his son Rik owe a lot to fellow pigeon fanciers Jan Ouwerkerk and Bart Geerinckx. They provided them not only with invaluable advice but also with a group of pigeons with exceptional breeding value. These pigeons enabled the successful Rotterdam-based combination Van Dorp to make it to the very top in Europe.

24/05/2016 - We are close to the start of the one day long distance season and Klaas & Rik van Dorp shown to be in good form, winning a promising 3rd, 4th and 9th prize from Pont St. Maxence against 9580 pigeons.

09/01/2016 - Klaas and Rik combined their existing collection of Van Loon and Ouwerkerk pigeons (led by super class breeder Kleine Jan) with the top class pigeons of B. & J. Geerinckx, and this enabled them to become a top class loft in The Netherlands. This combination of bloodlines has given countless outstanding pigeons, including most notably Olympic Mystery and Olympic Gipsy.

26/01/2015 - Klaas & Rik van Dorp (Rotterdam, NL) won the title of Golden Pigeon 2014 in The Netherlands, while also having two pigeons in the Dutch selection for the Olympiad of 2015.
