(05/06/2019) A report on the National Flying Club race from Messac 2019

The second race of the season for the National Flying Club took place on the 1st of June from Messac, France. A total of 5128 pigeons were entered by 602 members from Scotland, Wales and England which were liberated at 7:15am into a clear blue sky and light south east wind.

(23/05/2019) The winner of the National Flying Club race from Fougères

The first race of the 2019 season for the National Flying Club took place on the 19th May after a one day holdover and as it unfolded it became one of the most challenging for a long time so early in the season. The overall winner was Phil Priddle from Southampton.

Six hundred and twenty-nine members entered five thousand, one hundred and sixty pigeons into the National Flying Club race from Ancenis on 16th June 2018. They were liberated at 07.10CEST and the winner was clocked seven hours, twenty-nine minutes and forty-six seconds later at the Salford loft of John Crehan, also known as The Manchester Maestro.

The National Flying Club birds were brought back from Jarnac to Fougeres due to poor weather. They were liberated at 08.30CEST into clear skies and a westerly breeze. The following is a report on the provisional result based on members' verifications.

The National Flying Club race from Tarbes was liberated on the 2nd July 2017 at 07.15CEST into a light south westerly wind. The National Flying Club were due to race from Ancenis on the 3rd June. However, due to poor weather on site the convoy was brought back to Messac and was liberated at 11.30CEST The following is a report on the provisional result based on members' verifications.

Eight hundred and eighty-eight members entered eight thousand, two hundred and ninety pigeons into the National Flying Club race from Fougeres. After a six day holdover due to poor weather the National Flying Club old hen race was liberated at 12.00CEST into a light east-south-easterly wind. The following is a report on the provisional result based on members' verifications.
