19/10/2012 - We have just been informed that the Langfang pigeon exhibition in China has been postponed by two weeks because of political reasons. The exhibition will now take place on the 25th and 26th of November.
18/10/2012 - This is indeed one of the most praised pigeon families in Belgium in the long distance and the grand distance. There is one unfulfilled dream though: to take the first prize in the National Championship KBDB!
18/10/2012 - On Friday 12 October the preliminary chamber of the KBDB dealt with the dispute between Eric Limbourg and Dr. Vandersanden, concerning the existence of fake and/or incorrect pedigrees that were used in the selling of pigeons that come from the loft of Eric Limbourg. A verdict will be delivered in a month's time.
18/10/2012 - Jacob Poortvliet had a great 2012 season. His pigeons found their way home very well. Their home loft previously belonged to Veenstra, who used the loft until he moved away ten years ago. The pigeons of Jacob Poortvliet would shortly achieve their first successes here.
18/10/2012 - Diego Wouters turned 28 last Wednesday and in recent years he has been at the top of pigeon racing in The Netherlands. In his total auction a unique collection of birds will be offered for sale. He is the missing link between the lines of Pieter Veenstra, Andreas Drapa and Jan van de Pasch.
16/10/2012 - Sander is an established name in pigeon racing in Germany: they have been at the top for several years with a fairly small team of pigeons. They have a harmonious team of top class racers and breeders.
16/10/2012 - Adrie has more than 50 years of experience in pigeon racing and 2012 has again proved a successful season! He has won no less than three provincial first prizes, as well as a number of other top prizes.
15/10/2012 - The pigeons from Strombeek-Bever were in top form and were outstanding in anything from sprint races to grand middle distance races. This loft plays at a high level and has won several top prizes. The owner of the loft is Andre Moonens.
14/10/2012 - To stick with the facts of Wittebouck: three of the four basic pigeon breeds, the tumbler, the ringbeater and the platneus pigeon have only been known since contemporary history. The tumbler was first mentioned by Aldrovandi and Willoughby.

This year again two fanciers will sell some quality birds: Batenburg-van de Merwe (Holland) offer 10 young birds including 2 youngsters from national winners and Flanders Collection (Belgium) offers 14 young birds including 2 grandchildren of Bak 17.
