20/09/2011 - The second weekend of September was summery, even sultry to oppressively warm, through the warm air with a high degree of humidity coming in from the south. The pigeons then achieved quite high speeds, whereby the following fanciers managed to achieve nice performances:
07/09/2011 - Saturday the 3rd of September was one with a summer alloy. Plenty of sunshine, temperatures flirting with the 30° and almost windless, in short 100% trustworthy and a dream for the majority of fanciers, which yielded the following ‘nice performances’:
06/09/2011 - September has arrived, which also means that the end of the pigeon season is in sight. On Satyrday we enjoyed a rare summers day, on Sunday the rain and inadvertant weather was once again the master of the weather picture. A weekend with 2 sides to it, in which the following fanciers managed to achieve ‘nice performances’:
03/09/2011 - In the Netherlands the 'late races' and the game with the youngsters is in full swing. This produces a nice number of participating pigeons everywhere and the following 'nice performances':

30/07/2011 - Despite the changeable and rainy weekend, several lofts still managed to achieve great performances, even dominate the races. In the Netherlands it produced the following good performances:
21/07/2011 - A few Dutch races were liberated on Friday in very nice and excellent racing weather, a few other competitions were raced on Saturday in rainy conditions, though supported by a strong tailwind… a big contrast! Both weather types had their shiners and that gave the following ‘nice performances’:
20/07/2011 - Despite the predicted rain and late liberation, the races last week were more or less without problems. With a strong southwester for company the pigeons didn’t only achieve exceptionally high speeds, but they sometimes fought through the local rain storms! Luckily…
07/07/2011 - With the gunpowder fumes from National Argenton/Chateauroux/Blois/Orleans – which cost the necessary feathers here and there – barely extinct, the Netherlands is preparing itself for a mostly middle distance weekend. The kilometres are starting to add up and the ‘lofts in form’ are distancing themselves more and more from the ‘group racers’.

01/07/2011 - Both Montauban and Libourne 2011 will be remembered as two extremely heavy missions for the birds. One bird is better fitted for this than the other... the strong ones and the persistent ones were mostly present, and earned good points for their owners, which we listed in this 'look at the week'!
