24/07/2012 - It was phenomenal how the lofts of Marcel Sangers & Paul Ung (Eefde, NL) and Vredeveld-Leemhuis (Coevorden, NL) dominated the one-day middle distance competition in 2011 in The Netherlands. Shortly before the start of the NPO classics in 2012, PIPA had an interview with the two favourites. What is their secret to being so successful?
14/02/2012 - National crack Arie Dijkstra brings all his best racers and breeders into auction. Arie brought forth sensation with outstanding performances, even this year 1st,3rd,4th and 8th NPO Chateauroux, all his stars shine in this auction, including of course top couple ‘Leonardo’ x ‘Tinkelbel’ and their super sons ‘Okidoki’ (2nd Nat. Ace bird) and ‘Boogie’ … Winners of 100 to 1.000 km. Rarely is such an excellent All Round loft offered on auction!

24/12/2011 - On Wednesday the 7th of December PIPA Chairman of the board Thomas Van Cauwenberghe handed over a cheque for € 7.000 on behalf of PIPA, but moreover on behalf of all pigeon fanciers, to the Red Cross. The money will be used to directly help the victims of the earthquake in Japan in March 2011.
22/12/2011 - Today was the grand finale of the Verreckt-Ariën auction, which proved to be the internet auction with the second highest proceedings ever. The auction which brought in most was that of H.P. & P. Brockamp, passing the 1 million barrier.
20/12/2011 - There were many participants who nearly guessed the total proceedings of the Verreckt-Ariën auction (€ 971,800) but there were only five prizes to be distributed.
13/12/2011 - Gerard and Sebastiaan Verkerk surprised the pigeon world by racing at the highest level again after moving house – proof of rare quality. All the National Ace birds and Olympiad giants are reserved for own breed and this success formula has made the supremacy of the Verkerks even more immune.
