06/12/2017 - Many fanciers were impressed with how Karlo Van Rompaey made a name for himself as a pigeon fancier in Belgium. Karlo made history by winning a 1st Nat. Bourges twice in a single season with racing birds Prima Dora and Hattrick. The descendants of these champions have already shown to be highly talented as well!
08/11/2017 - Everyone agreed that it would be nearly impossible to improve upon their results of 2016, having won a 2nd and 7th Nat. Ace Pigeon Longer Middle Distance YBs and 8 top 100 placings. And yet, multiple winner Jelle Roziers continued his winning streak this season with a title of 1st National Ace Pigeon in the same category, an impressive five ace pigeons in the top 20 and seven in the top 50. This is quite phenomenal.
11/04/2017 - The combination delivered an exceptional result in 2015, winning the first four national prizes from Châteauroux of 10,442 young birds. The team had a brilliant result in 2016 as well, with 3 pigeons in the national top 20 of 28,078 young birds from Bourges.
23/03/2017 - After they were classified 3rd of the same 'IATP Trophy' in 2015, the Pocholle loft is now climbing on the highest rung of the podium after an exceptional season in terms of regularity. In Europe, nobody has been more regular than them over the last few years. The results of the championships from 2016 are prooving it!
22/03/2017 - The title of best sprint/middle distance pigeon in The Netherlands has been won by Jan Eskes. This highly coveted title takes into account the ten best result in all the races of 60 to 500km that are part of the program races in the province.
20/03/2017 - Etienne has won two provincial first prizes, a title of 10th Nat. Ace Pigeon Extreme Long Distance KDB, a top result in the World Championship Thailand OLR and an impressive number of top prizes in the long distance and the extreme long distance in 2016, making it another spectacular season for him.
24/02/2017 - Hans Lekscha is one of Germany's great pigeon champions. He has been adding victories to his palmares season after season. In 2011 he was able to win seven first prizes, and last year he managed to claim an impressive 23 wins to his list of achievements, along with numerous championship titles.
20/02/2017 - Lubomir Kubacek has once again been crowned 1st National General Champion for 2016 in the Czech Republic, the fourth time he has won the title. In addition he also won first general champion long distance, second general champion short distance, third general champion yearlings and third general champion young birds. An amazing achievement!
05/02/2017 - His palmares for 2016 includes the title of 1st Prov. Ace Pigeon Longer Middle Distance Old Birds KBDB, as well as 3 provincial first prizes in 2016 and 4 provincial top five ace pigeons KBDB!
03/02/2017 - Two weeks after Hugo was awarded as General Provinicial Champion KBB East Flanders 2016 he was called on stage on the national days of the KBDB, to be celebrated as the best fancier of Belgium in 2016 in the longer middle distance old birds.
01/02/2017 - The showpiece of the PIPA rankings, the IATP ranking, has French winners this year, Alain and Valérie Pocholle, who already finished third last year. The silver goes to Hubert Stollenwerk (Germany) and the bronze is won Freddy Van Acker (Belgium). Fanciers from three different countries!
27/01/2017 - Peter Thesis has managed to win more than 100 top 10 prizes in the NPO competition, including several first prizes, since the introduction of breeding birds Dragon Rocket and De Witbuik in his loft.
25/01/2017 - Former diamond cutter Willy Daniëls managed to claim a national first prize from Châteauroux twice last season, and he has added another national victory from Châteauroux to his palmares this summer. He then went on to win the titles of 1st National Champion Longer Middle Distance Yearlings and 1st Ace Pigeon Longer Middle Distance Yearlings. Great work!
25/01/2017 - 2016 has been quite the season for Peter van Dongen from Arnemuiden. His NL15-1761084 Wladimir Klitschko won arguably the most prestigious extreme long distance title in The Netherlands both in 2015 and 2016: 1st National Ace Pigeon Extreme Long Distance The Netherlands. This very pigeon will soon be auctioned here on PIPA.
22/01/2017 - PIPA travelled to China from 12 to 29th of November, in the company of Bart Geerinckx, Hardy Krüger, Tom Van Gaver (DVV Pigeons) and Frank Morre (Team De Jaeger). Counting up the individual kilometers of each member, the entire group has travelled more than 150,000 km, visiting 11 different cities.
21/01/2017 - Due to the improved weather conditions the 9th edition of Thailand One Loft Race 2016 was rescheduled on Saturday 14 January 2017, a day earlier than planned. The pigeons were liberated in the west end of Nan close to the bordering Prae Province, almost directly north of Bangkok, for the final race of 500 km to Bangkok.
11/01/2017 - The Handerek family is well-known in Poland because of their numerous Olympiad pigeons and their multiple national championship titles. Focusing mainly on the middle distance discipline, the Handerek family of pigeons are a force to be reckoned with.
08/01/2017 - The pigeon family of Bert Van den Berghe has been a consistent performer and a top player in Belgium over the past decade. The team had a great 2016 season as well, winning a 2nd and 11th National Brive with two nest brothers.
05/01/2017 - Gaby Vandenabeele smashed his own record of highest average for a young birds' auction, raising 18,765 EURO per young bird on average in his most recent auction. This means we can now announce the winners of our 2016 Christmas quiz. Unlike last year the winner does not come from Germany but from The Netherlands.
04/01/2017 - Three seasons ago Flanders Collection purchased some top quality pigeons of the Dirk Van Den Bulck breed, and the 2016 season showed once again that this was a successful initiative. As in previous years, the van Den Bulck breed was responsible for numerous national ace pigeon titles in the sprint and the shorter middle distance.
02/01/2017 - Season after season the pigeon breed of Peter and Gwen van de Merwe shows its exceptional strength in the Netherlands and at international level, with the descendants of Replay, Amigo and many other champions playing a key role.
