24/01/2018 - The final race of the Thailand Grand Pigeon Race, one of the world's prestigious one loft races, was held recently. It was a bird of the Belgian-Thai partnership Veulemans-Techavichian who won the tough race from Nongkai with an average velocity of 1,052 mpm, already the second win for Teerapol Techavichian after he won along side Jos Thoné.
20/06/2017 - The Asociación Iberolatinoamericana de Colombofilia (AILAC) was founded to build and improve relationships between Spanish-speaking pigeon countries across the world. The organisation has recently launched a new international competition ranking the best birds in the Iberian and several Latin-American countries in one single championship.
14/04/2017 - The 2017 final of the Derby Arona, one of Europe's biggest one loft races, was held on Friday 24 March. This year's race was won by Team Leyen-Segers-Paloma Racing from Belgium, making it their second victory in three years' time after having taken the first prize in 2015.
27/01/2017 - On Saturday 28 January the final race of the new Victoria Falls World Challenge Pigeon Race was held. At 6.15am 413 pigeons were liberated for a race of 415 km. The weather conditions along the race path: cloudy sky with some sunny intervals and no wind.
16/01/2017 - The final race of the first edition of the Pattaya International Pigeon Race (PIPR), a Thai one loft race, was held on 7 January 2017. The birds were liberated in Udon Thani for a race of 530 kilometres. It was the Thai fancier and business man Mike Sadawut Taechaubol who eventually won the race, and that in his first year of pigeon racing!
14/02/2012 - The weekend of 10th -12th February saw the annual get together of the members of the British International Championship Club to honour the winners of the club’s National and International races for the 2011 season.
21/12/2011 - Thailand Grand Pigeon Race is a King Cup race organized by the Thai Racing Pigeon Federation as part of the annual Grand Pet Show in December every year. Only after four years of existence, this race is recognized as Thailand toughest OLR. It has become increasingly popular and known worldwide due to its fair and transparent practice.
19/12/2011 - Recently British fanciers Mike and Cynthia Mitchell, Kevin and Moira Buddle and Geoff and Catherine Cooper made the journey to Belgium to attend the prize presentation for the Entente Belg at the Hotel Cortina, Wevelgem.
16/11/2011 - Early Saturday morning Geoff Cooper and his wife Catherine, along with Mark Gilbert made the journey over to Verviers in Belgium to attend the prize presentation and collect their trophies for the fantastic International race they had from Agen with the Bordeaux Televie organisation.
24/08/2011 - The CFW (long distance club of Wallonia) has finished its championship of best international ace pigeons from Marseille in the last three years. The winner is Jules Hardy from Riemst (Belgium).
