Wim De Troy (Berlaar, BE) shines on National La Souterraine and takes the zonal victory

Wim (64) and his son Steven (45) De Troy from Berlaar perform on the highest level for years. This has resulted in amongst others, sensational national victories including: 1st Nat. La Souterraine Young birds 2016, 1st Nat. Montlucon Old Birds 2019, 1st, 2nd, 3rd Nat. Argenton Young birds 2020, 1st Nat. Limoges II Yearlings 2021 and 1st Nat. Argenton II Old birds 2021. Provincially they have won from Gueret (2020), Montlucon (2019), Soullac (1st, 2nd, 4th in 2020), Brive and Libourne (2014), Blois (2007, 2017, 2018) and Vierzon (2008, 2017, 2x 2019), Argenton (2008, 2020, 2021). Furthermore, they have won various championship titles including 1st National KBDB Heavy Middle Distance Young birds 2016, etc. 

La Souterraine

The high expectations for La Souterraine (14-07) were met by taking the 1st, 2nd and 4th National Yearlings and 4th and 9th National Old birds in the zone. 

“Megan Fox” (BE21-6035017)

The hen "Megan Fox" won the 1st Nat. Zone La Souterraine (587 p.) and 16th Nat. (6,761 p.). This top racer previously won 5th Interprov. Vierzon (6,345 p.) and 7th Nat. Zone Issoudun (1,921 p.). 

Father of "Megan Fox" (BE21-6035017) is the famous “Hollywood” (BE14-6070003), also father of 1st Prov. Chateauroux.

Grandfather of "Megan Fox" (BE21-6035017) is “Top Gun” (BE11-6115013), winner of amongst others the 25th Semi-Nat. Bourges and 107th Nat. Bourges (14,598 p.). 

“Cruella” (BE21-6035215)

Hen “Cruella” won the 2nd Nat. Zone La Souterraine (587 p.), good for an 18th National (6,761 p.).

Father of "Cruella is the old top racer and now top breeder “Hercules” (BE12-6022024), winner of a.o. 1st Interprov. Chalon-sur-Soane (3,950 p.). This "Hercules" has proven his breeding qualities on multiple occasions as father and grandfather of amongst others the 2nd Nat. Argenton against 23,280 p., 4th Nat. Gueret against 12,888 p., etc. 

Both grandfathers of "Cruella", "Den Jules and "Den 092" are central to Wim De Troy's exceptional breeding team:

“Miss Universe” (BE21-6035029)

The hen “Miss Universe” won the 4th Nat. Zone La Souterraine (587 p.) and 32nd Nat. (6,761 p.) on 15th July. Last year, she became 16th Nat. Ace Pigeon Young birds 2021. 

Father of “Miss Universe” is the well-known "BA Baracus" (BE13-6060868), nest brother to "Hannibal". 

“Maud” (BE20-6181160)

Not only the yearlings, but also Wim De Troy his old bird team showed themselves upfront on La Souterraine. The hen “Maud” (BE20-6181160) won the 9th Nat. Zone La Souterraine, having already gathered many beautiful results on her palmares. This has led to a preliminary 3rd place in the Best Belgian Middle Distance PIPA ranking across 4 races and 6th across 5 races. Amongst the best across 4 prizes and 6th with 5 prizes, very impressive! 

“Maud” (BE20-6181160) is a daughter of “The Last Boxer” (BE12-6022143).

“Moonfall” (BE-6181008) is a daughter of “Hannibal” (BE13-6060867) and “Heaven” (BE14-6070055).
