Welcome to PIPA’s new editorial website!

As you have already seen, PIPA’s editorial website has been thoroughly revamped. Our IT team spent almost a year silently developing a modern new website. Today, 26th of May 2020, we are proud and happy to introduce the latest rendition of our PIPA website.
The new PIPA-website

This year, the www.pipa.be domain name has been in existence for 20 years. The first few pigeons were auctioned off three years later. And introducing our updated website on PIPA’s 20th anniversary is a symbolic moment for us.

Why the update? To begin with, we never stop looking for ways to improve. And secondly, the previous version was based around a design that was already ten years old.

This updated website is better suited for mobile phones, and the navigation has been overhauled as well. All in all, this slimmed down version should provide more clarity to the user. We also got rid of a number of pages, again to improve clarity. Our filter and search options now feature prominently as well, making it easier for you to find a specific item.

Of course, looks are important as well; our website now features a modern design.

And this new website is not an end point. It will be the basis which we will continue to build upon in the coming week, months and years.

Our auction platform remains unchanged; it was completely reworked in 2017 and has received regular updates over the years.

Another notable change is that advertising on our website is no longer possible. As such, PIPA continues to profile itself as an exclusive auction house, with pigeon auctions as their core business.
