Stefaan Lambrechts has impressive average of 4,293 EURO for 14 young birds. Auction weekend closes at 231,850 EURO

The following auctions closed on Sunday, with an overall revenue of 231,850 EURO.

Stefaan Lambrechts – 14 pigeons – 4,293 EURO/pigeon
Last year Stefaan Lambrechts organised his very first internet auction on PIPA, raising 2,000 EURO per pigeon on average. We are now one year later and Stefaan has had an exceptional racing season. As a result his second internet auction had an average sale price of no less than 4,293 EURO per youngster. This means his pigeons have doubled in value, which is not surprising: he made history in the summer of last year, when his pigeon Lincia achieved the lowest coefficient ever in the championship for national ace pigeon shorter middle distance young birds. The 14 Lambrechts youngsters were sold for 60,100 EURO. The most expensive pigeons are a son and a brother of Lincia, which were sold to The Netherlands for 8,600 and 8,400 EURO respectively. The pigeons were sold to The Netherlands (6), China (4), Taiwan (3), and Poland (1).

Team BDS – 14 pigeons – 1,421 EURO/pigeon
This auction was themed around a few original Rudi De Saer pigeons combined with youngsters that Team BDS bred themselves. It was a successful auction, with an overall revenue of 19,900 EURO for 14 pigeons. The most expensive one was the 7 year old Broer Bleken, which goes to Taiwan for 5,400 EURO. The second most expensive pigeon was Sale 2, which goes to China for 2,600 EURO.

Verbree combination – 11 pigeons – 1,464 EURO/pigeon
This was the first auction that the father-son combination organised on PIPA, and it turned out to be their most successful internet auction so far, with an impressive average sale price of 1,500 EURO for 11 youngsters. The most expensive youngsters were unsurprisingly two youngsters of top class pigeon Samantha; they have been sold to two different Taiwanese fanciers for 2,900 and 2,700 EURO respectively. The 11 youngsters were sold for 16,100 EURO in total.

Derby Arona – 60 pigeons – 965 EURO/pigeon
Every season the best pigeons of the Derby Arona One Loft Race are offered for sale on PIPA. This year's auction was another great success, with an overall revenue of 57,900 EURO. The most expensive pigeon was the 2nd Ace Pigeon of Schlücker from Germany, which goes to South Africa for 5,000 EURO. The second most expensive pigeon (of Mark Gilbert) and the third most expensive pigeon (of Team Soepboer) were sold to South Africa as well, for 3,800 and 3,000 EURO respectively.

Bastek Eckhard – 6 pigeons – 1,958 EURO/pigeon
​This German top class loft sold some of its best pigeons in auction. The auction started fairly quietly but eventually turned out to be very successful, with an average sale price of just under 2,000 EURO and an overall revenue of 11,750 EURO. All six pigeons were sold to three different fanciers from China, and the most expensive of them was Sale 1, which was sold for 3,400 EURO.

Collector’s Items – 11 pigeons – 2,855 EURO/pigeon
This is an impressive average sale price for this Collector's Items auction. The most expensive pigeon is a youngster of Safier Pair of Leo Heremans; it goes to China for 7,200 EURO. The second most expensive pigeon is a youngster of Grootvader Sagan of Patrick Boeckx; this pigeon goes to Kuwait for 5,000 EURO. Seven pigeons have been sold to China and Taiwan, and the 11 pigeons have been sold for 31,400 EURO.

Brothers/sisters and youngsters of National Ace Pigeons KBDB – 29 pigeons – 990 EURO/pigeon
In this auction we had 29 youngsters that were all related to KBDB ace pigeons. The most expensive one was a brother of Rudi De Saer's Neymar, which goes to The Philippines for 2,000 EURO. A youngster of Fyther was also sold for 2,000 EURO, this time to a Dutch fancier. The 29 youngsters raised 28,700 EURO.
