Stefan and Norbert Ally win a 1st Prov. Blois twice
The races from 400 to 800km, or the longer middle distance and the long distance, are pretty much cut out for him. Norbert Ally's racing birds really come forward in the provincial and national classics. They play a leading role in these races, and they are always among the main contenders for victory. And they were again in the lead on 2nd of June.
The Ally racing birds did really well last weekend, claiming not one but two provincial first prizes: one with the yearlings and one with the old birds. Here is a closer look at their overall results in the province:
Blois Prov. 3,289 olds: 1-10-11-61-215-233-313-412-482-489-509-656 (12 out of 17) Blois Prov. 3,367 yearlings: 1-9-27-41-161-164-273-325-341-364-381-397… (15 out of 30)
This is a very promising performance indeed, especially with a national long distance classic about to come up almost every week.
Half brother Neymar triumphant in Blois
In pigeon racing, the apple does not fall far from the tree. Last week's provincial winner of Norbert & Stefan Ally has some solid origins indeed; his pedigree shows that he comes from some high value bloodlines. His sire is a half brother of Neymar (from the same sire, Schalie Souillac), and his dam is Neymar's own dam. This makes the provincial winner from Blois an almost exact copy of Neymar, the current leader of the five star team from Aarsele.
Neymar is the superstar of the Norbert Ally pigeon family. He was an outstanding racing bird and he is now a fantastic stock breeder as well. Here we have his best results as a racing bird:

Stefan noticed how all the prize winners from last weekend, both in Blois and Limoges, were coming from one and the same racing loft. Turns out the level of fitness in the other racing loft is not quite as high, which Norbert and Stefan could tell from their daily training flights at home. Nonetheless, they hope to get this second racing loft in top form as soon as possible as well. They could then try and win prestigious races with two teams, either at club level or provincial level, and perhaps even at national level. You never know what to expect from the descendants of such super class birds as Schumi and Neymar.
They already got their first double victory of the season, with a provincial win from Blois. And they are eager to do even better in the months to come. Congratulations Norbert and Stefan.
Schalie Souillac: the sire of Neymar, and grandfather of a 1st Prov. Blois
