The palmares of Yves Vandepoel is full of National highlights. His passion for Barcelona led him to invest in pigeons of sublime quality to realize his ultimate goal; win National Barcelona. As winner of 1st Nat. Chateauroux 2014, 1st Nat. Chateauroux 2017 and 1st National Perpignan 2016 this was not an unrealistic goal. Nonetheless, the past years Yves felt that being able to battle for the win every week suits him better and has taken a step back from extreme long distance racing. Final winners and Ace Pigeons
Europa Master Pigeons Winter Race first edition 2022-2023 ended up with the extra race stage, from 620km far. The pigeons flew 797km in 18 trainings and 2,434km in 4 hot spot races & the semi final.The final race from 509km and the extra race from 620km far makes a total amount of 3,231km. In the final flight, from 509km far, the pigeons had to fly for the first time at a temperature of over 28 degrees but the latest 150km they had to bear the wind of about 15km/h from the front and left side. During the extra race, the pigeons flew over the mountains, with a left side wind, 1/3 of the route, 1/3 without wind and a temperature of 28 degrees, so that the last 1/3 was hot, over 30 degrees Celsius and a headwind of 12-15km/h. The wind increased in intensity after 8:00pm and on the 2nd day with gusts of up to 30km/h, and the temperatures remained high around 30 degrees Celsius. A final test, for real!

After the large auction of Team Sangers on PIPA, the colony of Marcel and Brian is nearly back at full strength. Stars include children of the superstars Gold Dust, Angelina, Bratt and Banksy, but especially new gems of the Best Kittel family. Sangers houses a/o 14 children of Best Kittel, 14 children of Best Kittel II, 11 children of Blue Best Kittel, 6 children of Daniel and 5 children of Junior. More recently, a/o 3 children from Goed Grijs and childen of the wonder pairs Crack 19 x Jet and Arturo x Tila from Gebr. Leideman were added to the breeding lofts.
