It goes without saying that Marc De Cock is indeed one of the great stars and one of the most sensational players of modern-day pigeon racing. Just like in his professional career, where he runs a very successful retail business in processed meats and fine charcutery called "Charles", Marc has always been working with and striving for the best of the best. This is what kept him motivated throughout his pigeon racing career. A modern strategy and a lot of determination (which is something all the great stars have in common) was the combination that enabled Marc to become a highly successful fancier and for sure one of our sport's greatest players. To explain what makes this pigeon family a world class breed, we will be discussing his most impressive achievements over the past five years, to show you that Marc has done a lot more than just obtain top quality bloodlines.
A first notable name in this team is "Johan 275", a fantastic racing bird that saw the light of day in Marc's pigeon lofts.
Pedigree Johan 275
'Johan 275' won a title of 1st provincial ace pigeon KBDB long distance 2015. This also led to a bronze medal at national level: 3rd National Ace Pigeon long distance 2015. On top of that, he also won a title of Golden Ring in the long distance, and he was 1st Ace Pigeon long distance in the LCB magazine. He was also the best pigeon across 5 long distance races in the 2015 PIPA Ranking long distance. This prestigious title illustrates the tremendous strengths of Marc De Cock's pigeon family. This bird then repeatedly demonstrated his potential as a breeder as well, even at international level. To begin with, he is the grandfather of a 7th place winner in the final of the famous OLR Grand Prix Thailand, a race that is still unmatched in terms of difficulty. This descendant of "Johan 275" was also 2nd ace pigeon winner in that same race. He is also the sire of BE17-4091182, a racing cock that proved just as talented as his illustrious sire. We take a look at his tremendous palmares:
