Karlo Van Rompaey (St.Truiden) now also dominates Souillac with 1st and 2nd National YL and 1st National Old birds

For the third week in a row he wins 1st and 2nd National Yearlings. As if this wasn't enough, Karlo also wins 1st National Old birds.

The success story continues

All good things come in threes. This seems to be the case for Karlo Van Rompaey his spectacular performances of the past three weeks. This racing pigeon dream began with 1st, 2nd, 6th, 70th, ... National Aurillac against 5,342 pigeons and 3rd, 4th, 9th, 25th, 29th, 43rd, 99th, 100th, ... National Aurillac against 6,512 Yearlings.

A week later the Van Rompaey pigeons repeated this feat with 1st, 2nd, 98th, ... National Libourne against 3,880 Old birds and 2nd, 4th, 9th, 18th, 54th, 75th, 76th, ... National Libourne 4,822 Yearlings.

On Souillac (715km) Karlo manages the impossible a third week in a row, winning another National race! He now achieves the best result imaginable and not only wins 1st and 2nd National Yearlings, but also the 1st National Old birds. The result on Souillac in numbers:

Souillac National against 6,085 Yearlings: 1st, 2nd, 15th, 22nd, 47th, 69th, 95th, 115th, 125th, 137th, 179th, 223rd, 227th, 243rd, ...

winning 20 prizes 1:10 and a total of 25/43.

Souillac National against 4,827 Old birds: 1st, 13th, 38th, 73rd, 75th, 201st, 241st, 335th, 340th, 355th, 470th, … (11 prize 1:10 and a total of 13/18).

The 3 National winnners arrived almost at the same time and were clocked at the following times:

15u 42’ 12”: 1st Nat. Souillac Yearlings
15u 42’ 17”: 1st Nat. Souillac Old birds
15u 42’ 20”: 2nd Nat. Souillac Yearlings

We ask ourselves: as any one managed this before? 4x 1st National within three weeks time, of which 3x 1st AND 2nd National!!
This is more than excelling, a triumph, ...dominating the complete race three weeks in a row like this has never been seen before. All achieved with PEC pigeon!

1st and 2nd National Souillac Yearlings

On Aurillac and Libourne it where the old birds which took both 1st and 2nd National, now it where the yearlings which managed this incredible feat. Triple Porsche became the winner, a crack with royal blood running through her veins:

Its boundaries seem endless, its qualities difficult to put into words.

Candidate 1st National Ace Pigeon Long Distance Yearlings KBDB

In addition to the results mentioned above, adding an Ace Pigeon title would be another absolute highlight. Last week, we wrote that Karlo was on his way to winning an Ace Pigeon title. The two yearlings which he basketed as 1st and 2nd Nominated for Souillac - Laureaat Porsche and Bronze Aurillac - rewarded the faith that was put in them with a respective 15th and 115th National Souillac. They are thereby both - with 1 National Long Distance race from Tulle to go - leading the national rankings and ace pigeon championship standings.

It was another triumph for the PEC pigeons, which raced on the lofts of Karlo Van Rompaey, ensured a National long distance victory and dominated the complete race three weeks in a row .

Impressive conclusion

After the final long distance race in the 2023 racing season from Tulle, we will know the end result. Curious to see whether anyone is capable of stopping this Karlo Van Rompaey, the man of the season. Is it possible that Karlo Van Rompaey himself will improve his coefficient for the Ace Pigeon titles himself?

Is there anyone who will ever be able to beat these phenomenal results? Celebrations were in order three weeks in a row for winning 1st and 2nd National in Truien, and an extra 1st National in another category...in short: 4x 1st National and 4x 2nd National within 3 weeks time! Incredible. Sportsmen have been named honorary citizen for less...pigeon sport at the highest level, from another planet!  A standing ovation is in order, chapeau!
