1st Prov. Tulle 1,306 yearlings
We had only just finished our report about the provincial first prize from Jarnac when we heard about their next important victory: the Joël Verschoot pigeon family had just won another provincial first prize from Tulle. It was Noë, one of this loft’s favourite one year old cocks basketed as first nominated that won a provincial first prize. He had already won a 99th Nat. La Souterraine two weeks ago.
He is an inbred pigeon based on Joël’s phenomenal stock sire De As. His sire is a grandson of As, and his dam is a daughter of As. This is an invaluable bloodline, having also bred the provincial winner from Jarnac, as well as the national winners from Brive and Agen.

You can tell from his pedigree that he originates from quite a number of successful pigeons.

The yearlings' team performed as follows in the race from Tulle:
Tulle Club 246 yearlings: 1-7-35-62-63-73 (6/10) Prov 1,306 yearlings: 1-18-86… (expected top-100)
We wonder if the Verschoot pigeons will be able to put in an equally impressive performance in the race from Libourne, the final long distance classic of the season. A combination of talent and great form have laid the basis for two provincial first prizes. Can they do even better?
