Jespers-Vanderwegen (Holsbeek, BE) one of the top players at national level again in 2019

The combination from Holsbeek excelled again in 2019. Their season highlights included a widely predicted national victory from Montluçon, as well as a title of 8th National Ace Pigeon longer middle distance KBDB YLs 2019.

Herman Jespers & Johnny Vanderwegen, a solid combination with strong pigeons

Champions of consistency

The Jespers-Vanderwegen combination has been racing at top level for many years now, seemingly with ease. They have added provincial and national top results to their palmares on a regular basis. Their success story began with the introduction of super class breeder Kleine Dirk of Dirk Van Dyck in 2003, which was crossbred to the best bloodlines of Gaby Vandenabeele and Ad Schaerlaekens. We are now 17 years later, and the team can now rely on a remarkably strong pigeon breed that is outstanding in the middle distance, in a variety of conditions.

Justin - BE18-2010046 - 1st National Montluçon of 14,104 yearlings) / fastest of 23,961 pigeons

Many insiders had predicted this national victory to happen sooner or later. After all, the pigeons of this combination had been looking very confident and in great form for quite some time. But your pigeons still have to get the work done. The opponents did not stand a chance against Justin, a marvellous one year old cock. He not only took a national victory of 14,104 yearlings, he was also the fastest overall of 23,961 pigeons.

Justin, a marevellous cock

The sire of this national winner is Remycop, a breeding cock inbred to the world famous Rudy of grandmaster Gaby Vandenabeele (Dentergem, BE) from his father's side, through Remy (BE11-3070186), a half brother of Ronaldo, the sire of Super Ricka (1st National Ace Pigeon middle distance KBDB 2015). Remy is also the sire of Lady Blois, winner of a 2nd Provincial Blois (3,050 yearlings) two weeks ago.

Remycop and his son look almost identical.

The dam is Lucky Mamma, a daughter of Lucky Luc, a super class racing bird for Dirk Van Dijck (Zandhoven, BE) and a great-grandchild of De Kannibaal. And we see that same Kannibaal bloodline from her mother's side. She is also related to a hen of Leon Jacobs (Tremelo, BE) and to a daughter of Gladiator of Bart Geerinckx (Wommelgem, BE).
