Several ace pigeon titles every year as well

With so many national and zonal top prizes on their palmares team Roziers has understandably won quite a few ace pigeon titles between 2012 and 2016 as well:

National level: 27 x top 100 met 2-4-7-8-10-14-24-29-37-39-45-47-55-57-61-66-68-74-76-77-81-83-84-87-91-97-98

  • Provincial level: 1-3-4
  • Union Antwerp: 1-2-3-3-3-6-7-7-8-8-9-9-9
  • Cureghem Centre: 2-4
  • Championship Vanrobaeys-Duivenkrant-LVC: 1-2-4-9
  • Antwerp Flying Club: 1-1-1-3-4-6-7-8-9-10
  • Fondclub Antwerp: 1-1-3-4-4-6-6-10

You have to be able to keep your pigeons in great shape week after week if you want to win so many ace pigeon titles. Jelle clearly knows how to do this, as he won the PIPA ranking for best young birds over 7 national races in 2013. He had no less than four Roziers pigeons in this ranking, finishing in 1st, 3rd, 10th and 13th place.

2nd and 7th National Ace Pigeon in 2016

Jelle basketed his entire racing team every single week in 2016. The cocks and hens were basketed together for six consecutive middle distance races over 520km on average: four national and two interprovincial races. He basketed a total of 416 pigeons that were able to achieve some outstanding prize percentages:

  • 63,78 % per 4 (in the top 25%) (262 prizes)
  • 47,68% per 10 (in the top 10%) (167 prizes)
  • 28,26% per 20 (in the top 5%) (116 prizes)

Among their many prizes there were 63 top 105 placings at interprovincial, zonal and national level, which in turn led to the following ace pigeon titles:

  • At national level: 8 x top 100 with 2-7-47-55-66-68-83-91
  • Provinciaal level: 1st and 4th ace pigeon
  • Union Antwerp: 2nd , 6th, 7th and 9th ace pieon
  • Antwerp Flying Club: 1st, 7th, 9th and 10th ace pigeon
  • Fondclub Antwerp: 1st, 3rd, 4th, 6th and 10th ace pigeon

On top of their game

Jelle Roziers has managed to get his team to perform at an exceptional level for five consecutive years. 2016 was perhaps his best season of all, winning the title of 2nd National Ace Pigeon and a 2nd National Bourges last summer. And it is safe to assume that Jelle will do anything he can to avoid having to to settle for second place again this season. His opponents had better be on top of their game.
