As fanciers you sometimes have the feeling you struck gold. On July 7th 2019, this was the case for André and Bert on the race from Lorris (597km). The brothers say the following on the matter “It was a tough NPO race on which the fastest pigeons reached 1150 m/min; it was no easy race but the battle was fair. We managed a strong series with 7 pigeons in the Top 14 National Sector 4 against 6,086 pigeons…our first two pigeons (Aura and Nancy) and also the winners of 13th and 14th National (Haley and Fabio) were all bred from Arturo x Tila…and all those pigeons were no one day flies and have achieved top results in large competitions on multiple occasions! That was the confirmation that this couple is worth their weight in gold.”
On the season’s finale with the youngsters in 2019, the NPO race from Chalons across 433km, the brothers Gebr. Leideman won the 1st NPO against 3,892 pigeons with a great grandchild of Arturo x Tila…powerful genes that carry through many generations; the reason to give this couple a prominent place on the breeding lofts…and now in ’20, ’21 and ’22 this decision has ensured beautiful results on their own loft and formidable references on other top lofts!
