A number of Collector's Items were sold in auction, and the most expensive bird is a son of Limoges Joost, bred by Erik Limbourg. He goes to China for 1,800 euro. The six pigeons were sold for 7,700 euro in total, and will be moving to Taiwan (2), China (2), Belgium (1) and The Netherlands (1).
Les Green – 10 pigeons – 1,530 euro/pigeon
The most renowned satellite loft of Dirk van Den Bulck in the United Kingdom is that of Les Green. He was selling inbred youngsters of the best sons and daughters of Kittel, along with two special youngsters bred from his 1st National Ace Pigeon RPRA 2017 (raced by Les Green) paired to a 1st Nat. Ace Pigeon WHZB Young Birds 2017 of Jan van de Pasch. These two youngsters had the highest sale price, 3,200 euro and 3,000 euro, and will be shipped to Taiwan and China respectively. The 10 youngsters raised 15,300 euro in total, and were sold to fanciers from Belgium (4), China (2), Taiwan (2), Thailand (1) and The United Kingdom (1).
Klaas & Rik Van Dorp – 7 pigeons – 1,071 euro/pigeon
Every year Klaas & Rik van Dorp offer for sale a small group of pigeons from their best bloodlines. This season they sold two racing birds and five young birds. The most expensive pigeon was sale 2, a talented racing hen that goes to China for 2,400 euro. The second most expensive pigeon is sale 1, which goest to Qatar for 1,700 euro. That same fancier from Qatar obtained 4 out of 7 pigeons; the remaining three will be moving to China.
De Vroe-Vandeputte – 8 pigeons – 1,222 euro/pigeon
This new combination was selling 7 youngsters an 1 old bird, a son of Golden Prince, bred by Gino Clicque. This bird goes to a renowend Belgian loft for 5,600 euro. The 7 pigeons were sold for 9,775 euro in total, and will find a new home in Belgium (4), Taiwan (2), China (1) and Poland (1).
