The PIPA auctions combine top quality pigeons with high sale prices every single week. Last week's auctions had an overall revenue of 401,650 EURO for 143 pigeons, or an average of 2,808 EURO/pigeon.

Jewels of the Sky – 66 pigeons – 3,214 EURO/pigeon
This is already PIPA's 12th edition of the Jewels of the Sky auction! This auction was another major success; an impressive 66 pigeons were sold for 212,150 EURO overall. We take a look at the most expensive pigeons in auction:

Casaert-Sénéchal – 56 pigeons – 2,901 EURO/pigeon
The entire middle distance breeding team of Sebastien Casaert was sold in auction, which is a talented group of breeding birds. The team had not expected this auction to be that successful; they raised an impressive 162,475 EURO! These are the 3 most expensive pigeons:

Romeo – Half brother Nikolaas & the sire of a 1s Prov. – 25,000 EURO – China
Victoire – 1st Nat. La Souterraine 2,548 p. – 19,000 EURO – Belgium
Nika – Daughter Nikolaas and winner of a 6th National – 13,200 EURO – China

The 56 pigeons were sold to the following countries: China (28), Belgium (13), USA (6), France (3), Taiwan (2), Japan (1), Portugal (1), Spain (1) and Switzerland (1).

Famille 3D – 6 pigeons – 1,754 EURO/pigeon
It was the first time that this pigeon combination organised an auction on PIPA, and it was a great success with an average of 1,754 EURO per pigeon. The most expensive pigeon was sale 1, winner of a 6th National Limoges, that goes to Taiwan for 4,200 EURO. That same fancier also purchased sale 2, 3 and 6. The six pigeons were sold for 10,525 EURO, to fanciers from Taiwan (4), Japan (1) and Belgium (1).

One Loft Race Kuznica – 15 pigeons – 1,100 EURO/pigeon
The winners of this One Loft Race in Poland were sold on PIPA for the second consecutive year. The race winner was also the most expensive pigeon of the lot; it was sold to china for 4,400 EURO. The 15 pigeons were sold for 16,500 EURO, to fanciers from China (6), Taiwan (4), Great Britain (2), Belgium (1), Germany (1) and Switzerland (1).
