Kristof traditionally wins a number of provincial or national championship titles every season. He has several provincial wins to his name, as well as a title of 1st Nat. Ace Pigeon KBDB extreme long distance in 2016, and a 1st provincial ace pigeon title extreme long distance just last year, with racing bird Ludo.

Am Sonntag und Montag wurden verteilt auf 11 Versteigerungen insgesamt 223 Tauben versteigert. Sie brachten eine Gesamtsumme von 529.100 EURO, was einem Durchschnittspreis 2373 EURO pro Taube entspricht.

(23/10/2017) Kristof Mortelmans (Ranst, BE) lives up to his reputation with a title of 2nd Nat. Champion KBDB Long Distance & Extreme Long Distance YLs
He became 2nd Nat. Champion KBDB Extreme Long Distance YLs in 2015, and in 2016 he won the title of 1st Nat. Ace Pigeon KBDB Extreme Long Distance with Barcarcas Red Ace. 2017 sees him win claim another second prize in the national championships KBDB yearlings.

With just three pigeons in the basket Kristof Mortelmans wins a 1st, 9th and 63rd Provincial Marseille against 248 pigeons, with his first and second nominated taking the lead. This result shows that he is an exceptionally talented fancier in the extreme long distance in Belgium.
