09/06/2011 - The Up North Combine were at Clermont on Friday 3rd June for their second channel race of the season. It was decided to have a Friday liberation to try to avoid clashing with foreign birds. 10,299 birds were liberated at 6.00 a.m. together with birds from the West Durham Amalgamation, Durham Combine and New North Amalgamation all competing for coveted N.E.H.U. Queens Cup.
