Five stars performance for the combination Casaert-Sénéchal (Russeignies, BE) on La Ferté!

The AWC combine organized its first race of the calendar from La Ferté and they were no less than 6.987 pigeons (olds & yearlings together) entered to this race who went smooth under a bright sun.

The wind was blowing from the south east, which leaded a big part of the early pigeons on the west of the Hainaut province, which was simply the perfect deal for the combination Casaert-Sénéchal where the condition seems to be very high since several weeks.

The combination Casaert-Sénéchal has his place in the top of the bill from the international pigeon scene since many years. You can like or dislike Sébastien, mostly because he is used to dominate his direct opponents. But if you have a bad or a good feeling towards him, it is because he is one of these naturally gifted fanciers who has a prominent talent and a thirst of victory. Yet, Sébastien is a 'professionnal' living in the middle of an area where everybody is still racing as a pure hobbyists but it doesn't prevent anybody to disrespect what he already accomplished in his career while he is still on his 47's.

To the talent of the fancier, you have to add an exceptionnal quality of pigeons and then you will be able to understand better how he has been able himself to book such kind of performances. His old strain built around 'Stan', 'Slim', 'Stecy', 'Amalia' & 'Nikolaas' gave their place to the pigeons bred by the PEC (PIPA Elite Center) who booked numerous references in a very small amount of time. Actually, the partnership founded between Sébastien Casaert & Nikolaas Gyselbrecht (PEC) is still on his early age but the results they booked are already far beyond their expectations. Both men are currently very satisfied of this partnership and they are convinced that they took the right decision when they went on an association. Who knows what the future will bring... Beside that, Sébastien just put another mark on a race, the last big performance happened during the last weekend with the race from La Ferté, a race he clearly dominated on a brilliant way with no less than 20 pigeons into the top 50 against 6.987 pigeons and no less than 47 prizes per 10 for a balance of 58 prizes from 87 pigeons in the race. Here are the figures in detial:

01/06 La Ferté (354 km) 6.987 pigeons (old pigeons + yearlings):
1, 2, 5, 7, 8, 11, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 31, 33, 40,
43, 44, 46, 47, 49, 52, 57, 69, 73, 77, 80, 88, ...
01/06 La Ferté (354 km) 3.474 yearlings:
2, 9, 10, 15, 17, 19, 20, 22, 23, 25, 28, 30,
33, 36, 38, 43, 50, 61, 80, 91, ... (50/60, 25x par 10)

The two pigeons clocked early are two hens raced on total widowhood. Before the season, the pigeons were prepared the same way but they were paired up at two different moments: one team sitted on eggs in december, the second one did the same in february. Then, all the pigeons from the racing team where coupled once again in early april so that they were entered on the 3 first preparation races while still paired up. The day before the basketing for La Ferté, they enjoyed some time together as the cocks had to be basketted for Limoges on the evening. By the way, the hen clocked on second position had to be remooved from her aviary because she was starting to get paired up with another hen. Let's have a look now on these two hens:

Father: 'Father Red Devil Porsche' (BE16-4129577), a young talented breeder who, despite his fairly young age, has already some very strong breeding references to his name as he became father of the 'Red Devil Porsche' who won last year the national victory on Jarnac against 4.802 yearlings for Casaert-Sénéchal.
