Roziers - Xiang: fantastic results with the young birds

Some pigeon fanciers have had such an impressive career that they no longer need an introduction. Simply hearing their name is enough to remember their remarkable achievements in our sport. Jelle Roziers ans Green Xiang is one of those teams which every fancier has great respect for.

After a fantastic 2017 season, in which they won a 1st National Bourges young birds and a title of 1st Nat. Ace Pigeon Longer Middle distance, the 2018 season is turning out be a great year as well.

4 great results in a row

The national quartet of Bourges, Chateauroux, Argenton and another race from Chateauroux was once again one of the main goals of the season for Roziers-Xiang. These are the races where the young birds had to excel this year. The pigeons were meticulously prepared for these races, in an attempt to get these highly talented birds in their best form possible. And they did excel on those races. The result from Bourges was good but not spectacular, but the team was nothing short of impressive in the other three races. Here is an overview:

We selected 5 invaluable pigeons that have really excelled across these classics. The first one is BE18-6034133, which did particularly well in the closing race from Chateauroux, claiming a 65th Nat. Chateauroux 2018.

Next up is racing bird BE18-6034054, which managed to win a top prize in both races from Chateauroux, with an 18th Nat. and a 436th Nat. Chateauroux 2018.

The third gem is BE18-6034014, winner of a 13th Nat. Chateauroux of 12,855 pigeons, as well as a 159th Nat. Bourges of 23,854 pigeons.

The last but one star in this team is BE18-6034200, winner of three top prizes: 47th Nat. Chateauroux, 203rd Nat. Argenton and 253rd Nat. Chateauroux 2018.

And there is of course racing bird BE18-6034151, which excelled in all four races, doing better every time: he started with a 4441st nat. Bourges of 23,854 pigeons, followed by an 841st Nat. Chateauroux of 17,281 pigeons, a 321st Nat. Argenton of 16,496 pigeons and eventually a 70th Nat. Chateauroux of 12,855 pigeons. This is an impressive list of achievements in just five weeks' time!

Queen L. continues to take the lead

Judging from the pedigrees of all of these prize winners, we can say that the bloodline of the renowned Queen L, winner of a 1st Nat. La Souterraine of over 16,000 pigeons as a young bird, is still playing an important role in this team. She has bred four generations of highly talented descendants, making her a truly fantastic breeding hen!
