Bart Geerinckx (Wommelgem, BE) is a major supplier of top class pigeons!

The Geerinckx pigeons have been performing really well both at home and abroad. Not a week goes by without a descendant of Gladiator, Acy or another top class pigeon of Bart Geerinckx winning a top prize in Belgium or The Netherlands, or in any other country.

In November we published a report about what was yet another outstanding season for Bart Geerinckx, which you can reread here. In this report we tried to summarize the many top results that were won in other lofts with Geerinckx pigeons. Had there been a quality label for pigeon fanciers, Bart Geerinckx would be the first to get one. His list of references is really spectacular, even in 2015 alone.

It would be nearly impossible to write an overview of all the top prizes that have been won thanks to the introduction of Geerinckx pigeons. It would be a difficult task as well, since the Bart Geerinckx breed is popular all across the world. This article focuses on the results that Bart has kept track of in Belgium and The Netherlands.

National ace pigeons

No less than seven pigeons that won a prize in the National Championship KBDB 2015 are closely related to the Geerinckx breed:

To conclude

As we said, this overview only includes the top results from Geerinckx related pigeons in Belgium and The Netherlands. This list is by no means complete. The Geerinckx breed is one of the most successful lofts in Belgium in the past few decades. Youngsters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren from this breed have been winning top prizes in Belgium, The Netherlands and all across the world on a weekly basis. This is how Bart Geerinckx has become one of the most important ambassadors of pigeon racing in Belgium.
