Jaap (l) and Adriaan (r) Scheele
The race from Bourges on 24 May was the first NPO one day long distance race in Province 1 Zeeland this season. It proved quite a demanding race that saw only one pigeon achieve a velocity of over 1200 m/min. The Scheele brothers, Adriaan and his son Jaap, had basketed 20 pigeons, which have achieved this impressive feat. You can tell from their results in the first few races of the season that they are in excellent form. We take a look at some of the results of 2015, won in Group South in Province 1:

Final words
A lot has been said about Adriaan and Jaap Scheele, the fanciers that have won countless championship titles and national victories. This race from Bourges shows once again that the pigeons from Terneuzen are highly talented. You can tell from the results in the early season that 2015 will be another great year, especially with the NPO races coming up. It would not be the first outstanding season for this successful pigeon loft.
