The number one of Rino Verheye’s colony is undoubtedly "Jommeke" (BE16-3005665) 1. Prov. Ace Pigeon KBDB, both in 2016 and 2017! A real treasure, bred from "Hells Angel" BE14-3003419 and Rino’s stock dam: "Sister Baron" BE08-3166809.
Hells Angel won 5 x 1st and became 4th Prov. Ace Pigeon KBDB 2017. Sister Baron is - as her name indicates - a sister of Luc Senaeve’s Baron. This star racer won 52 prizes in 5 years, of which 36 prizes per 10. With Sister Baron, Rino brought pure breeding gold to his lofts. What Rino Verheye has been able to achieve in recent years shows great class. He is setting a new standard in the middle distance, and with the breeding line around Jommeke it looks like it’s gonna be tougher and tougher to compete Rino in the coming years. It’s up to the opponents to try and grow to that same level. Easier said than done!
