Gladwin, Jarvis and Family of Leigh on Sea timed a three year old on 1029mpm over 593 miles to take second open and first east section. The partners timed Lazy Bones, so named as ever since a youngster he has been late home. Lazy Bones was thirtieth open from Agen last year and was the Gladwin's second pigeon from that race, helping them win the two bird average. He is a half brother to last year's Agen winner, having the same sire which is a top Frans Zwols cock from the Boy and Queen bloodlines. The dam of Lazy Bones is a daughter of Frans Zwols' Titan and N63.
David Hales of Hockley was third open and second east section with a two year old on 942mpm over 595 miles. Dave's pigeons are flown by Duncan Goodchild and first on the clock was a blue hen bred by their friends, the Ouwerkerk Dekkers Family from Brasschaat near Antwerp. Duncan clocked a further three pigeons to also take fifth, sixth and ninth open, third, fourth and sixth east section on 561mpm, 553mpm and 526mpm respectively.
David and John Staddon of Ditcheat timed a two year old hen on 637mpm over a distance of 609 miles to take fourth open and first west section. This is the Staddon's seventh section win with the BICC this year. Their winner is bred from a full brother of their star breeder, Red Treble, which contains Southfield Pau and Southfield Supreme bloodlines. The dam is one 100% Mark Gilbert's Deweerdt family of pigeons, being from a son of Mark's Treble cock.
G M Preece and Son of Dover were seventh open and fifth east section with a three year old on 530mpm over 559 miles. First to time was Sunny Jim, a blue white flight cock raced on the widowhood system. The sire to this cock is a direct Bernd Morsnowski pigeon and the dam is a direct Stoffel-Gr. Ophof. Geoff and Clayton timed a second bird, another three year old on 524mpm to also take tenth open. This was a blue hen, also raced on the widowhood system and containing Rezenthel Freres' Triple Europa marathon bloodlines.
Callum Edmiston of Horley was eighth open and second centre section with a five year old on 528mpm over a distance of 573 miles. Calum timed a hen named Lucy, flown on the natural system and containing the Van der Wegen bloodlines.
Lee and Kevin Buddle of Dover were eleventh open with a three year old cock bird on 517mpm over a distance of 557 miles. The sire of the Buddle's winner is a son of their good Barcelona racer, Pipi. The dam was bred by David Hales and Duncan Goodchild, being a direct daughter of 80, their Perpignan winner.
