First open and first section A was a yearling on 1397ypm over 215 miles for D Bridger of Littlehampton. David timed Heatwave, the sire of which was bred by Vince and Sarah Crossley of Melton Mowbray out of their middle distance family. The dam was bred by Eileen Whitehead from County Durham out of her excellent Herman-Ceusters family of pigeons. Heatwave was raced on a form of widohood system where both partners are raced.

A Stoner
A Stoner of Morden was second open and first section E with a yearling on 1367ypm over 256 miles. Mr Stoner clocked Mickey, bred down fromt he Syndicate Loft bloodlines of Propere Rik from Jan and Rik Hermans and Sunday Girl of Jan Hooymans' Harry. Mickey was raced on the classic widowhood system and returned in excellent condition.
D, S and R Wiggins of Oxford clocked a two year old on 1350ypm over 271 miles to take third open and first section F. The partners timed a blue cock, flown on the widowhood system and containing Gaby Vandenabeele bloodlines.
A Docherty of Swindon was fourth open and second section F with a two year old on 1346ypm over 259 miles.
Maurice Collins
Fifth open and first section B was a yearling on 1343ypm over 216 miles for M Collins of Southampton. Maurice clocked a blue chequer cock which was bred from birds loaned to him by his good friend Peter Goodwright. The section winner was flown on the natural system and sent sitting ten day eggs.
D Maxey of Worthing was sixth open and second section A with a yearling on 1331ypm over 216 miles.
Kieron Marcham
Kieron Marcham of Newbury timed a yearling on 1318ypm over 254 miles to take seventh open and third section F. Kieron's winner was bred by Mr and Mrs Beasley and L Oglesby and contains Jan Aarden bloodlines crossed into their own family of birds.
J Hamplett of Stafford was eighth open and first section J with a three year old on 1315ypm over 344 miles. This hen contains Joris Blomme x Robert Venus bloodlines and is a half-sister to the hen that was second section from Fougères earlier in the season.
D Spencer of Fareham clocked a three year old on 1314ypm over 211 miles to take ninth open and second section B.
Completing the top ten and in third section B are Mr and Mrs Waterhouse from Portsmouth with a three year old on 1313ypm over 212 miles. The Waterhouses actually clocked three pigeons on the same velocity.
Around the sections
Neville & Diana Spracklen
Neville and Diana Spracklen from Dorchester were first section C with a six year old on 1275ypm over 202 miles. The Spracklens timed a grand-daughter of Mark Gilbert's Southfield Supreme which was bred from their golden breeding pair. This pair have produced six section winners between them. This section winner is the oldest racer in the loft.
E Reilly
E Reilly and Family from Barnstaple were section D winners with a two year old on 1257ypm over 246 miles. The section winner contains R X Verstraete Top Star, Martin Ravelingien U2, Luc van Coppenolle Blawue Perpignan and Vandenabeele bloodlines. It was flown on the roundabout system.
Joe Raeburn of Devizes topped section G with a two year old on 1286ypm over 245 miles.
C Crick
Section H was won by C Crick and Son from Stotfold with a yearling on 1306ypm over 298 miles. The section winner is a blue hen, raced on the natural system and sent sitting twelve day eggs. Messac was its third channel race of the season.
Section I winner
The winners in section I were Walton and Sumnal from Solihul with a yearling on 1260ypm over 313 miles. Steve and Paul clocked a chequer cock containing Koopman bloodlines that Chris obtained from Stuart Innett.
Mr and Mrs Foulstone from Woodsetts timed a two year old on 1289ypm over 383 miles to take first section K. Bill clocked 439, a hen, the sire of which is from the national Tarbes winner for Chris Gordon whilst the dam is Sjaak Buwalda's Dutch national winner Melinda.
Brian Lee
Section L was won by B Lee from Congleton with a two year old on 1264ypm over 370 miles. Brian clocked Jenifer Eccles, a hen flown on the roundabout system. The sire was selected for Brian by Mike O'Hare and Ronny Woodward of Middlewich and contains Vandenabeele Shadow and Ambre Louise bloodlines. The dam is a Dutch rung Janssen of Zoon Marckx x Marietje x New Princess lines.
George Anderson
M Anderson and Sons from Washington were first section N with a two year old on 1174ypm over 490 miles. The section winner is a cock flown on the widowhood system and bred from 100% Batenburg vd Merve stock.
Krzyctof Czaplinski from Kendal timed a three year old on 1098ypm over 445 miles to take first section O.
J & J Brady
J and J Brady of South Benfleet were first section P with a two year old on 1278ypm over 279 miles. The partners timed a widowhood cock on its first channel race of the season. The sire is a Van Lint cock whilst the dam is bred down from their Jos Thoné family of pigeons.
M and A Watson of Truro clocked a yearling on 1278ypm over 223 miles to take first section Q. Shaun's section winner is a son of his great Krauth cock Sir Mal when crossed with a Marriot hen bred by Mr and Mrs Anthony from Kye. It was raced on the natural system and sent driving to nest.
Mark Sparey of Abertillery was first section W with a three year old on 117ypm over 276 miles. Mark timed Stevie B, a blue Lambrecht cock that was a gift pigeon from Steve Bennett of Bristol.
