Stefaan Lambrechts auction is a major success! Final result of 743,000 euro – Son Brother Goede Rode X 40,000-hen raises 52,000 euro

The Stefaan Lambrechts auction came to a close last Sunday. All pigeons from 2014 and older were sold in auction, along with 223 young birds. A group of 330 pigeons raised an impressive 743,675 euro in total, or 2,254 euro/bird.

The 2018 season was another great year for Stefaan Lambrechts. He won the title of 1st Nat. Ace Pigeon KBDB Shorter Middle Distance young birds for the second time in his career with Venus, after having won the title for the first time in 2015 with Lincia. Many of his best results were won with the help of Dirk van den Bulck pigeons, which are currently in high demand. And so it goes without saying that this auction was bound to be a major success. The event even exceeded the expectations, with an overall revenue of 743.675 euro. Keep in mind the youngest breeding birds that were sold were almost five years old.

The most expensive bird in this auction was a fantastic son from Dirk van den Bulck's stock pair Brother Goede Rode x 40.000 hen. This cock goes to China for 52,000 euro. The 20 most expensive pigeons will be moving to China (14), Belgium (2), Germany (2), The Netherlands (1) and Kuwait (1).

As for the auction overall, the 330 pigeones were sold to 27 (!) different countries: China (81), Belgium (50), the United Kingdom (48), Germany (33), Taiwan (28), The Netherlands (23), Romania (10), Poland (8), the USA (6), South Africa (6), Ireland (5), Kuwait (5), Canada (3), Switzerland (3), Egypt (3), The Czech Republic (2), France (2), Hungary (2), Portugal (2), Iraq (2), Mexico (2), Morocco (1), Bangladesh (1), Denmark (1), Italy (1), Japan (1), and Slovakia (1).
