Incredible results across the globe with Hebberecht pigeons in 2017

An impressive number of fanciers have won races with pigeons of Chris Hebberecht in 2017. That includes the winner of a 1st ace pigeon in the SAMDR 2017-'18 in Sun City South Africa, the winner of the Thailand Final Grand Pigeon Race 2017-2018, the winner of the Belgian Master 2017, and the third prize winner in Victoria Falls. Furthermore, the Hebberecht pigeons have also won a 1st and 2nd Internat. Narbonne, and a 1st Nat. Jarnac 2017. This is quite impressive indeed.

Chris Hebberecht pigeons win national championship titles

Every year, several national titles are won by Chris Hebberecht and by fellow fanciers who are racing his pigeons. This is no surprise, given the astounding number of top class birds that Chris has been breeding in his loft in Evergem in recent years. Among the most iconic Hebberecht pigeons are Champion and Pancho, both winner of a 1st Prov. and 2nd Nat. Ace Pigeon Long Distance KBDB. Pancho won it in 2004, Champion in 2005. Both pigeons have also played a key role in the breed's further development. This was not self-evident, especially not for Pancho, since he moved to a different loft right after his great performance. Just before leaving the Hebberecht lofts for good, Chris was able to breed one last round of youngsters, and these pigeons have been crucial in the further development of this breed. This group of youngsters has bred many new first prize winners and even national ace pigeons. Pancho's transfer to a foreign loft meant a considerable loss in breeding potential for this team.

Champion and Pancho, both 1st Prov. and 2nd Nat. Ace Pigeon Long Distance KBDB, and two key breeders in this pigeon family

Fortunately for Chris, Champion turned out ot be a fantastic bird as well; he would soon become a new stock breeder. His half brother Jempy (in fact a grandson of Pancho) has been almost just as valuable; he is for instance the sire of Ike. These breeding birds have allowed the team to continue to deliver great results, breeding new Hebberecht champions capable of achieving great results in the national long distance and extreme long distance. The following ace pigeons have been bred in the lofts of team Hebberecht in Evergem:

-Ike BE08-4351119 (son Jempy): 1st Nat. Ace Pigeon Long Distance KBDB 2010
-AXL BE03-4135895: 1st Nat. Ace Pigeon Extreme Long Distance KBDB 2005
-Lotus BE13-4169263: 1st Best pigeon from Perpignan in Belgium 2016-17 over 2 years - PIPA-ranking
-Deserteur BE09-4170454: 1st Internat. Ace Pigeon Pau 2014-15-16 over 3 years
-Edison BE10-4302413: 1st Best pigeon from Cahors in Belgium 2012-13-14 over 3 years

-Falco BE14-4201069: 12th Nat. Ace Pigeon Long Distance KBDB 2017

This is an impressive list of achievements! Eech of these pigeons has left its mark over the course of their racing careers.

Ike and AXL: both winners of a  1st Nat. Ace Pigeon KBDB for Chris Hebberecht

Fellow fanciers get great results with Chris Hebberecht pigeons

Besides the impressive results in their own loft, the Hebberecht pigeons have shown their breeding potential by delivering great results for fellow fanciers as well. Over the past two years, no less than four national and one international first prize have been won with pigeons of Hebberecht, besides a 1st and 3rd Nat. Ace Pigeon, a 1st Int. Ace Pigeon, a 2nd Nat. Champion Extreme Long Distance KBDB, and a 1st and 2nd Int. Narbonne in 2017, along with several other first prizes and OLR ace pigeon titles.

The Hebberecht pigeons have been among Belgium's most successful pigeon breeds for over 50 years now. This can only be done with a solid breed that has the ability to deliver great results while at the same time having exceptional breeding value as well. Another important bloodline in this breed is without doubt De Fijnen, a pigeon from 1984. He became the sire of three provincial winners, and he is also the sire and grandfather of many other talented racing birds, including most notably Raket (1st Prov. Cahors) and Bjorn (1st Prov. and 5th Nat. Narbonne - he became an excellent breeder later on). Another successful breeder in this team is Zwarte Vereecke, which was a foreign bloodline that was introduced into the existing breed. Zwarte Vereecke would soon become a stock breeder as well. These bloodlines have led to the creation of a homogeneous Hebberecht breed, which developed into one of the leading names in the long distance and the extreme long distance in Belgium, thanks to the use of some clever close breeding and inbreeding. The resuults of 2017 and of early 2018 are nothing short of impressive.

An impressive palmares for the Hebberecht breed in 2017

The pigeons of Chris Hebberecht have yet again left a lasting impression, winning an impressive number of top results (we only includes their most important ones):

Hebberecht pigeons, guaranteed to deliver

The high number of fanciers that had great results with the pigeons of Chris Hebberecht clearly illustrates the breeding value of this inbred Hebberecht family. They have enabled numerous fanciers to win prestigious races and ace pigeon titles after being crossed with other bloodlines.

The Hebberecht pigeon family is a group of closely inbred birds, capable of breeding several generations of equally talented youngsters without any loss in quality, and this is what made them an internationally renowned pigeon family.

It was thanks to these pigeons that Chris became one of Belgium's leading names in the long distance and the extreme long distance. Meanwhile, many other fanciers have been getting the most out of this fantastic Hebberecht breed, in turn winning many great results thanks to this very breed.

This list of achievements says it all; it clearly shows that the pigeon lofts in Evergem are home to a world class pigeon family. We are eager to see which fanciers will be added to this list of references in 2018.
