Since his new start a few years ago, Raf  has indicated that he especially wanted to concentrate on the national races for youngsters….A matter of trying to stand at the top now and again!!

By now we have to conclude that he can proudly look back at his achievements since this `new` begin 4 years ago. The aim at the time has been achieved marvellously !
By the report over his 1st interprov. from Blois on the 10th of July we gave an overview of the national top prizes which Raf had achieved in ’09. Now we can also give you some figures from 2010.
First of all, there was the ultimate preparation  race (selection race) from Blois on the 10th of July:

Is a hen in widowhood coupled  with an old cock. On the 24th of July she won from Brionne the 12th from 1203p and provincial the 51st from 10388 p. On the 31st of July she won the 11th prize from Tours in the Fond club against 541p  and classified herself as 27th interprovincial against 3375 p. From La Souterraine she ended then with the 1st in the Fond club from 500 p, the 1st provincial against 2463p, the 86th national against 17017 p.

A cock which was obtained as an egg from Raf Den Haese from Moortsele and is for 100 % origin E. Limbourg. This cock is also raced in widowhood, coupled with an old hen. That was our story of the 1st and 3rd provincial from La Souterraine out West-Flanders in the loft of Raf Vanthemse from St Eloois Vijve .
