The Andre Verbesselt colony can rightly be considered as the noblest ‘branch Marcel Aelbrecht’… direct descendants from everything which had earned name and fame in the Marcel Aelbrecht lofts moved to Buggenhout (with around 50 direct Aelbrecht pigeons). No less than 8 children out ‘Bak 17’, 7 children from the famous super breeder ‘970’ (a.o. father of the ‘Patron’: 1° Nat Ace bird Long distance KBDB), a child and numerous grandchildren of the Marseille, children ‘Bak 10’, a brother ‘Goede Blauwen’ etc… Unfortunately, due to the verdict of pleural cancer, Andre had to made the difficult decision to bring all his pigeons in a total auction. André Verbesselt se voit contraint de se séparer de cette superbe collection de pigeons ‘Aelbrecht’! Simplement car il n'y a pas d'autre solution… c'est une dure décision mais irréversible! Report
(28/06/2011) La ‘Miss Joice’ d'André Verbesselt à la base de la ‘victoire interprovinciale’ remportée chez Stella Rossa, et du ‘top national’ chez Jef Van Winkel!
Au cours de ces dernières années, la ‘Miss Joice’ d'André Verbesselt semble être devenue une reproductrice hors pair, un phénomène à elle seule à l'élevage! On la retrouve en effet à la base de la victoire interprovinciale remportée chez Rocco Toscani, et de certains pointeurs nationaux chez Jef Van Winkel! Report

For the last few seasons sport friend Andre Verbesselt from the East-Flemish Buggenhout has been well on his way to making a ‘name’ for himself in the Asian countries. In 2008 Andre’s pigeons achieved a remarkable performance by winning the 8° + 45° prize in the ‘One Million Euro Race’ in Sjanghai in China. Vente

Andre Verbesselt and Marcel Aelbrecht… is more than a successful marriage. With the direct descendants of the world class topbreeders at Marcel Aelbrecht, Andre Verbesselt has now self ascended to top performances in the pigeon sport... even at international level. This is proved by with the 8° place in the 'final race' of the One Million Euro Race' in China in 2008, the 10° + 12° place in the Thailand Grand Pigeon Race in 2009 and the 2nd place in the 'final spring race' of the 'One Million Euro Race' in Shanghai in 2010!
