(09/01/2011) Pros Roosen auction ending with a total of 1.368.000 EUR!
On Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th of January 2011 the entire pigeon collection of the late Pros Roosen was put up for sale. The sale took place in auction room "Oad Thoear" in Thorn (NL) over a period of 2 days. In total 218 were auctioned off. On both days bidders were eager to win superb birds like the "Superkweker Freddy", "Blauwe Prins" and "Tarzan". Report

Lorsque l’on parlait pigeon, Pros était une véritable encyclopédie. Ses victoires personnelles ainsi que les toutes grosses performances réalisées dans d’autres colonies par des pigeons Pros Roosen sont si importantes (voir 1ere partie) que nous nous limiterons dans un premier temps aux principales… autrement, nous en parlerions pendant des heures. (05/01/2010) Is de rage van de duivendiefstallen aan nieuwe opflakkering toe? Pros Roosen - Kermt (BE) … slachtoffer van nieuwe inbraak!
Nadat er in het vorig winterseizoen bijna geen week voorbij ging of er werd ergens ingebroken in een duiventil en meerdere duiven gestolen… bleef het na de arrestatie en aanhouding van een mogelijke verdachte lange tijd stil rond het thema duivendiefstallen. Report

Human life is a collection of beautiful and less beautiful to sad moments, of love and pain … although luckily the heights of the ‘peaks’, and the depths of the ‘valleys’ differ from person to person. Someone who embarked upon a road sown with roses was without doubt Pros Roosen from the Limburgs Kermt, near Hasselt. Video
